should I defer my interview? Or attend it

Yeah but the rules are  even If I travel to france the rules are there must be less than 3 months of expiry date of the passport

I am a Syrian citizen who is applying for a k1 visa on the 1st of may. My passport will expire on November 5th and the US embassy in the UK needs 6 months of expiry date on the passport beyond the intended date of travel. The nearest Syrian embassy in France so I have to apply for a visa to France if I want to renew my passport.

Can they issue the visa on my passport and I can renew it in the US ?
