I already did my interview and I was approved. Of all the things I prepared they only asked one thing from me, and that is my police clearance from Diego Garcia, i just told them I honestly don’t know where will I obtain that because it is a remote island. Anyways, they still approved me. Thanks God!

From my understanding, you only need one if you ever lived in a country for 12 months or more after 16 years old. I've lived in China and Taiwan before for 10-11 months each and I didn't need to provide police certificates from these countries.

This is my first time posting, Next week will be my interview for K1-Visa. I just have question about securing police clearance from the country you work for before. I worked in Diego Garcia for 9mos (2013). It’s a US Naval Base. It’s UK Territory rented by US to be a Military Base. Should I still secure Police Clearance? If yes, I don’t know who to contact to get that. We don’t have address there, we stay in barracks.
