Hello everyone,

Sorry i have been away for so long, once i got the EAD all that tima ago i went on an extensive job hunt. Anyways, i was happy to come back and read about all of the approvals, that is awesome.

I found a job as a 4th grade teacher not far from where i live, and this is the reason i have been gone for a few weeks.

I cant believe that this thread got to over 1000 replies, i never imagined that when i started it.

Got the actual EAD card in the mail today (twas fast i think) and applied for about 6 teaching jobs this evening. Also, my wife got a job this week....We are having a good time and i hope everyone else is.

Well, it seems our friends at CSC forgot my case, *sigh*

Tomorrow it is our 3rd month aniversary!!!

I am sure they will be right on it, i think my case at the CSC was lots of touches, no touches at all and (once again) lots of touches....Chin Up...

There is no point in calling the 0800 number.... there is nothing they can do.... Infopass is the only way you are going to get to talk to an immigration officer....

I dont like to be picky but you can get connected to an officer when calling the 800 number. I remember after my AOS/EAd checks cleared i called as the case numbers were not working on the online portfolio, the lady on the phone couldnt help me and, much to my shock, connected me to someone she said was an immigration officer.....I am not sure if that is very rare but it did happen.

Well ladies and Gents i just wanted to tell you that i awoke to an email which informed us that my EAD card was on its way, it made my wife and i so happy and i just wanted to share this with everyone....I congratulate those who have had success before me and i hope that everyone else has a lot of success after me.....

CSC appears to be speeding up on the Marchers at the moment, i believe they touched our AOS a couple of times in the last few days, so here is to everyone and anticipated progress.....

I really hope everyone is doing well, and i also wanted to say that i upon starting this thread that it would get so large, what is it now, 700 replies? We have been a great support group to each other.

Checked my e-mail and saw ones from CRIS, considering i have had two touches in a row for the EAD i got my hopes up that it might have been an approval for that, but alas it was a AOS now pending email for the AOS at CSC.....

Yes, it certainly was.Anyways, today is another day and you never know what might happen...I have to go spend the entire day (8am-4pm) doing my final teaching exams to be certified in the state of Georgia, so please say a little prayer for me....

Filed March 12, approved May 15. Didn't stamp my passport at the interview, which I thought was weird.

AOS approved in 2 months? Wow, that has to be a record, or close to.

There seems to be a trend because, after a month of inactivity, my EAD case was touched today.....

I do hope this means its approval is soon as the work and money would be a wonderful addition to life...

Today I got the EAD... finally I can work!!! since my GC will probably take forever now...

I do wonder about the CSC, once we got the transfer there, and a touch to go along with it, we have been neglected in that respect. I suppose everything has been checked before so there isnt much to do there except neglect it and wait for whatever it is they are waiting for.....

Did you ever get the "case pending and received" email/touch? I never did. It's driving me nuts.

I got an email to say that it had went to CSC, and i got a letter in the mail to tell me that California had it, but alas that is all- No additional email. I got one touch the day that CSC recieved, however that was the 25th and that was the last touch and my last touch for EAD was on the 19th.....

Yeah, we went down to the in laws for the week and just relaxed some outside of the city. They have dial up there and it just bugs me to wait 15 mins to check one page so i tend to lay off the internet......

I am in a similar boat.....Though there are must worse boats to be in.

Green card production ordered, and yseterday we got a touch that the I-485 approval notice was sent...I don't know what that is, we already got the welcome letter saying we got approved...

Thank you, and yes, got the transfer letter about 2 days ago.....I got excited when i saw the envelopre until it hit me that it would be just a notice of transfer....

Well, since being sent to CSC things have slowed down for me, but i am sure that is totally normal. However in slightly better news, my wife has just finished her biology degree this week and has a job interview on monday

Man, and here is me thinking i had an EAD....That was amusing, i came in to look at the thread and everyone was celebrating.....

Just got CRIS email tonight at 9pm, transferred to California Service Center....

Woo! go scott! Glad to see some movement!

My ead is floating like a dead fish, however, hopefully we'll get somewhere soon

many thank you's....UIf i recall correctly my EAD sat for a good 10+ days with no movement, i guess they concentrate more on the AOS and out of the blue the EAD gets approved?

Anyways, i have always said that i care more about the EAD right now than i do the AOS, regardless it is nice to see the AOS go smoothly. Although i know nothing about the CSC and how long it could take from here.....
