Anyone from central america still waiting on an answer for the DS 5535 is yes, how long did it took to get an answer, I had been waiting for eight months now and no news. I beyond desperate.

Officially 7 months since initial interview and 11 weeks, since we returned DS 5535 and still no answer, this is difficult to deal with, not sure what else to do. We had countless updates and nothing changes, i so frustrated. Anyone has an approximate time of when you had an answer, after returning DS 5535

Are you serious three interviews, my husband's case was updating daily up to last week since then it stop I want an answer now I cant take it anymore is killing me April 26 will be 7 months away from my husband.

Help with updates for DS 5535

Husband had his first appointment on 9/26/17 was put on AP due to an arrest back in his country 

October 11 2017 we turned in additional documents needed

December 27 received call from embassy to go to a second interview 

January 3 Second Interview 

March 5 email requesting form DS 5535

March 7 returned DS 5535

Waiting Waiting and medical exams expiring March 16 2018

Can someone tell me how long after ds 5535 did you received an answer.

Was it approved or not.

My husband's case was updating daily and on Monday march 5th I received an email from the embassy requesting him to filled up a DS 5535 form, i did some research and found out that this is a new form recently introduced on June 2017, I want to know if anyone has been through this before we are on our sixth month waiting on AP and now this I feel like my family will never be united again.

no they just told him to wait for an e mail and that s it 

Loosing Hope 

My husband's case still the same his case on CEAC changed daily last week and it just stopped but still says Administrative processing his medical exam will expire in two weeks, not sure what else to do. Any feedback will be appreciated.

My husbands case has been in Administrative Processing for 5 months however we had an date change on last updated. Changed everyday this week but still in Administrative processing any feedback, I m so worry.

How long did it take you to receive the case files and submit them back to the embassy? Does the embassy have his passport too?

The Embassy has his passport since september the paper work need it for the arrest took two months to get, but for some reason my husband had done before going to El Salvador so we didnt have to wait two months we just didnt take it to the interview and that was the mistake.

Unfortunately nothing yet his case changed on Friday on its own but nothing else today I attempted to check the status but I cant get in.

Thank you this is my first change since the interview exactly six weeks ago, I m just happy that it finally changed on its own without me doing anything. the only two changes after the interview were because of the congressman and senator letter. 

After the second interview how many changes happened to the update date before it show issued, mine changed today again but still says administrative processing. Any feedback will help.
