Miami is within the US. Plus, the EAD is just work authorization. Assuming the I-485 is still pending, he's authorized to stay, just not to work.

It’s called a combo card for a reason as long as his card says ‘serves as I-512 advanced parole’ it’s a combo card. He should’ve got a combo card if you applied for EAD and AP. If you only applied for EAD it won’t be a combo card

Good morning my husband recieved his work authorization card but didnt receive a travel card. I notice you said you received a combo card did you you receive 2 cards

I requested ead via phone they sent me an email requesting for me to fax job offer letter. Can anyone please advise the process how will know if it's been approved?

U said your husband's I-94 is expiring and that you have biometrics coming up. And am saying an expired I-94 means nothing. That was simply your 90 day window to get married. 
You already filed for AOS- which is good. U use your AOS NOA1 for proof of legal residence until you get GC
