CONGRATULATIONS!  May God bless you and your family on your new life in the USA. Can you believe is over? Thank you for giving us an update!

Hi maryLu, thanks for you kind words. We are sure already blessed. I feel very relieved and can't believe it's over all the waiting. Just like we say here in  Brazil, "ainda não caiu a ficha".

    Good luck to you.

Thank you for sharing your experience @Knychala yes... this information will be help me during the interview. I have some questions... you needed to pay something to receive your passport and the visa packet? What is the payment form? If yes, how much? How many days to you receive your documents at home? Thank you and Congratulations... God bless you in your new life in the USA.

Thanks for the kind words, just pray and God will bless you too. To receive you passport and visa package at home outside Rio de Janeiro you need to pay an extra fee of 31 reais for each applicant, can be done through the internet at the website where you registered for you interview, you can pay with a credit card. If you want to get the passport in RDJ you don't need to pay an extra fee. The consul told me the visa package will come in two weeks.

If you have any question do not hesitate!

    Good luck!

Hello Journey friends, do you know what kind of questions they ask in EB1 cases?

Hey @usa, me and family had our EB3 interview at RDJ consulate yesterday, for approved! It was very simple, organized and fast (I have a 4 month old baby so made it be faster). First they ask you to organize the documents and than they will call you to deliver at the consul window, where they will check one by one and take your fingerprints. Than you wait for the interview. During the interview the nice consul just asked me my education, professional background, where the company I was going to work for was located, how many years of experience I had, If I had experience on the field I'm being hired to work for and told me we were approved and that was it, less than 5 minutes. @rene_fisio thought you may wanna read this too 🖒🖒

We have sent in the documents to NVC three weeks ago, our lawyer finally submitted the DS260 today and we are waiting for CC.

    Hi maryLu!
I had my interview date scheduled on Mar 13 for April 17!!! My CC was on Jan 22
From what I have been seen at the comments NVC are processing faster documents than last year, good luck!!

Hola, you lucky people who are almost to the finish line! For my own knowledge (I really want to know what everything looks like in order to be on top of the process), when you move past the NVC stage and they tell you to schedule an interview, can you schedule it for any available time? Is there a calendar on a website that you can click a day (like if you were reserving a hotel room) or do they just tell YOU a date and you make your life work around that? I'm fine with anything, but I just want to know.

If this is necessary to know, we're trying to get our interview at the embassy in Frankfurt, Germany (when our times comes).

Hi! they just tell YOU a date and you make your life work around that, people wait from 1 week to 3 months, sometimes 6 months, to have an interview scheduled. But I guess for Frankfurt, Germany, may not be a busy consulate and you'll get it fast!

Yes...waiting with patience and believing in GOD miracle. Someone called to NVC or Rio de Janeiro embassy about it or informations why this delay time?

I called today morning, they as always didn't provide any useful information, just that we should wait. Funny thing is that you see many more people from other countries and they get their interview faster than we in RDJ that are just a few.

@Knychala I called the NVC this morning to check on the scheduling of my interview. They told me my interview was currently scheduled for April 17 and that I should be receiving a written confirmation shortly. Perhaps you can call the NVC and ask them about your case...

    Peter

Hi @pepestru, congrats on your interview!
I'll call then and check it out. Just hope I get for April, I've been processing with NVC since Aug 2017

Hay... I'm in the same place... Someone know how many days they need to finish all and I get my schedule? I'm Currently process for EB 2. Thanks

    Tks!

  10. Hi All...

Does any of you all know if there is any difference at NVC interview scheduling between visa's types? for example, I've seen a CR-1 CC on Jan 19 been scheduled the interview for March and this other person EB-2 that had the CC on Dec 6th haven't had an interview date so far. Both PD are current.

My CC is Jan 26 and I'm waiting for interview at Brazilian consulate.

    Tks.

No worries! I'm actually getting used to that. My history with NVC is long. I had a Check list on Set 26 and got a CC only on Dec 4, but 4days later my son was born and we sent his docs and went back to doc check and got the second CC on Jan 27, back to interview queue. :(

Hi folks.. today I am completing 40 working days waiting for my interview date, my consulate is in Rio de Janeiro city ( Brazil), is there anyone in the same situation for that or other consulate?

Hi USA BRA, I'm in Brazil and waiting for my interview at RDJ also... My CC was on Dec 4th 17, EB3 VISA, and the date is Current.
On the Dec 8th my son was born and after that added to the case, sent his passport on Jan 4th and got his CC on Jan 29th. So I don't know if Iwas in the queue since Dec 4th or started over on Jan 29th.

Please share when you get your interview! Tks.
