hello people,
we have almost the same timeline, just that my husband is from Ecuador, our form I-601A was sent Feb '18
accepted Feb 22, '18
April 5th, '18 - biometrics app
May 10th, '18- case was transferred to another office
all this was in Nebraska until it was transferred , does anybody know why it would get transferred? Has this happened to anybody else?

you do need to see verification she mailed them / should be a letter she sent to accompany the documents and a signature request card
if she does not have these, she defintely needs to be reported (State Bar Association )
meanwhile you are out money so take her to small claims court (if she can not prove they were mailed) / this is not as hard to do as some think
New york small claims limited amounts is below:
Fee to file is small and need to pay to deliver the summons where she would have to prove she sent these documents out BEFORE YOU FILED THE CLAIM
The Small Claims Court is an informal court where individuals can sue for money only, up to $3,000 in Town or Village Courts, and $5,000 in City Courts, without a lawyer. If you have a claim for damages for more than $3,000/5,000 you cannot separate it into two or more claims to meet the $3,000/5,000 limit.
she does not have anything, I went to see her yesterday and asked for all copies of my records, and theres nothing in there that can prove to me that she sent it, everything is signed and dated , what she did show me is a receipt from the U.S Post Office with the date of 7/24/17 but I cannot verify that my package was sent because it doesn't have our name on it.

So let me get this straight you paid for a lawyer, she was supposed to send in the 601a for you, and at this point in time has not done so at all. Also she is not responding to phone calls???
she answers sometimes, and is never in her office, I was able to see her today, but she seemed pretty nervous....

Assuing you paid and have kept recept and copies of documents you sent to lawyer, I would make an appointment with her and ask for copies of what she did
BTW date is wrong and i assume u meant July 2017 not 2018
If she has nothing to prove what she has done, report her
you do need proof you have paid and copy of the agreement with her office
she gave me copies of what she sent, but she has no way to prove that she sent it, and yes i meant 2017, sorry!
