  1. That's all :D

Actually, wanted to add, the notice date on it is 11/27. Which is one day after I mailed it out, the day they received it! o.O Is that normal?!

Hey, Raspberry, I mailed at the same day and received the notice today also dated 11/27. I guess that's their way to date their notice and also I would assume all the new petitions have been rerouted automatically to CSC. Seems it took them 14 business days to send out the notice. It's pretty normal but very fast comparing to NSC. CSC rocks!!!

    Keep in touch.

  2. Yes, there is a way to track cashing of a money order but it is extremely difficult. You need to contact the issuer of the money order and they can look at the cashing records for you. Typically they want to wait 90-days BEFORE they'll search for you but this varies by company.

NOT THE EASIEST TASK but it's not impossible~ Policies vary by company!

Thank you guys. I bought the money order from my account bank. I guess I can go to them and try my luck. Thanks again.

  3. Today I mailed my K-2 daughter's I-751 package. I had to file hers separately from mine because she followed me to the U.S. more than a year after I came.

My I-751 has already been approved, I have my 10-yr GC, and have applied for Naturalization.

We're slowly getting to the finish line with immigration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Wish us luck!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, same here. I mailed out on 11/26. Did you have the sponsor sign the paper? I am still not sure if it's reqired since filing separately but I did anyway. Keep in touch!

  4. 1. why wait, you can sumbit yor I-751 90 days before your temp card expires.

    2. read the I-751 instructions and try to provide all the documents specified there.

I am planning on sending I-751 on Dec 8, 2007 to Nebraska Service Center with following documents.

    1. 2006 tax return

    2. joint bank account

    3. Affidavit from 2 friends

Q1. Do you think this is enough? I dont have any thing else in joint account. Never though stuff like this would required.

Q2. Am I late? What would happen after they receive the application as far as residency concern? I know they send one year extention notice. But NSC is very slow. Will I receive that before 1/27/08?

    Please provide your input.

    thank you,

Personally, I think your evidence is very scant. The request for documentation is to demonstrate that the marriage is bonafide and that you and your spouse are indeed living together and doing the things normal married people do. Imagine, if you will, a couple that has entered into a marriage for the wrong purpose (to assist an alien in securing permanent residency in the USA) and are attempting to evade immigration laws. Wouldn't there evidence resemble yours?

Be creative. You don't have to have both names on evidence. You just have to put together pieces that paint a picture of the two of you sharing a home, a social life and family.

  5. Hi,

Suddenly I realized i may have made an error on my seperate I-751 form(k2). In Part 4. Information about the spouse or parent through whom you gained your conditional residence, I put my Mom's name (k1) there. I should list my step-dad there instead, right? What a dummy! What should I do, submit another one? I even don't know if I have to submit a waiver I-751 again after the divoce of my parents...Troubles everywhere.... advice appreciated!

  6. HI there,

I have a question: what if the divorice happens after sending out naturalization application? Yes have been married with citizen spouse for 3 more years when signing the documents by counting back. Need report to immigrantion center? will get denied? If you have to stay being married when you go to the interview till you get it approved, what does that mean when they say on their N-400 instrucion: who may file this form: you have been married to and living with the same US citizen for the LAST three years.

    Thanks!

  7. No this wont be a problem with your case, you should be able to file to lift conditions on your own.

7.4) ..How to we file for lifting of conditions for my K2 child?

A..If your K2 achieved permanent resident status at the same time as the K1, or within 90 days afterwards, then include them on the joint petition. If the K2 achieved permanent resident status more than 90 days after the K1, or if the parents are NOT filing a joint petition (due to termination of the marriage), the K2 will file their own I-751.

Thank you for your reply. I am still not sure if it's ok if I don't have sponsor to sign my I-751. I wonder if there's anybody here ever has the same case. Thanks again...

  8. Thank you so much, Aussie Girl! I have the same issue with my kid's case. I will have to apply for I-751 seperately in the coming Nov as well. I really appreciate the detailed information you provided here. Yes please keep us posted with your progress and I wish you the best luck!

And best wishes and good luck to Raymaga too!

But still I am not very sure if it's ok if I will just include a copy of the letters (attesting to my parent’s relationship and marriage) I submitted for my case last year (allmost a year old) or I should have these papers updated with recent dates. (It's kind of painful thing to get this done again isn't it.)

  9. Hi there,

Anybody here has the same issue as K2 applying for I-751 seperately. I, K1 have a got my 10 years green card. My child K2 came to this country later and got his 2 years green card 9 months later than mine. He has to file his I-751 seperately on his due date(3 months before his card expiration date). My questions are:

    1. Who will be the sponser when we file I-751 for him, my husband or me, or both?

    2. Do we have to submit all the documents as requested on I-751 including the 3 letters while his is K2 and I have got my green card?

    Thank you,

    YaYa

  10. My daughter applied seperately and received her conditional green card about 9 months' later than mine. I am about to apply for removing my condition but not sure if I can include her in my petition. Or she has to wait till 90 days before the expiration of her card to apply for I-751 seperately? If she has to file seperately, do we still submit those documents (my joint account with my husband, affidavite from two people, etc.) for her???

    Thank you! ~YaYa
