Congratulations hehe I don't like mine lol. The woman was mean. She did not ask me if I wanted to see it but for the 2 years GC, the guy was nice and asked me if I wanted to keep the picture or redo it.
My person was also a man - really nice man... I had done my hair al nice (if Im gonna look at my face for 10 yrs... I better look good) and he says.. "Im so sorry, I have to move your bangs off your forehead" and he sorta parted it and styled it right there! Which may be why I had such a nice smile...

Yesterday I received my:
On July 11, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED blablabla
and then TADA! The card itself was in my mailbox - all shiny and perfect and................
The picture was good too!!!! BONUS!

Congrats!

My old one expired July 3! (yes I have a 1 yr extension letter)
I think this is a pretty decent wait period considering all the issues they had with the actual physical card production

My approval letter was same... Initial and last name - this is normal...

My wife was approved in less than two months as well. It all depends on whether or not you can efficiently establish a bona-fide relationship. The only interview my wife had was at the embassy over two years ago. No interview for AOS and no interview for the ROC.
The key is to send the right docs and the right amount of docs. The sample forms and letters on the website are very helpful in guiding you step-by-step along your journey. You can pick and choose from those samples and send in what evidence best suits your particular situation.
Please. this has nothing to do with how fast you get approved. We all send in squared away paperwork and some get approved in two months and some get approved in 13 months and some are still waiting. There is no rhyme or reason.
I agree ####### shoot!
Still happy... first time was painful!

Congratulations!
Did you also put in tax returns/transcripts or not? Interesting if not...
Hope your card comes soon!
Printed what we got online - Turbo Tax
WOW! 11 months and no GC! Maybe you'll be lucky and get yours any day now!Oh wow.. Hope you gets yours soon - I dont really mind waiting now that I have it in writing

Wow LOL, and I was so worried about evidence that I included like 23 documents LOL. I'm guessing that I have far more than enough!
haha.. I guess it is! Good Luck to you!

Thanks everyone!
What a contrast to the first time around. There were no jittery nerves, no interview and everything went super fast without delay!
Couldn't ask for anything more... well maybe a speedy card delivery

Took more than one month to get mine and I was all done in 2 months!
I wouldn't worry just yet

I have no idea

Congratulations !
Could you post What kind of evidence did you submit? Thanks in advance
We put in:
Some correspondence addressed to both of us
Son's Birth Certificate
Letter from Son's School Principal addressed to us both
Health Insurance Claim
Dental Insurance Claim
Lease
Car registrations
That's pretty much it.. No pictures (We did the whole picture thing when we were interviewed the first time 2 yrs ago)
I guess just put in as much stuff as you feel is enough... I went through our filing cabinet and added stuff as I went

Congrats! I got mine in 2 months also!

So when I got my Welcome to the US notice.... On the notice it says that I must carry it with me at all times (it is the law!!!!!)
Then some people are not telling me to NOT carry it with me, to make a photocopy and keep it in my safe with my passport because it's a PITA to get a replacement card.
Thoughts, Experiences, Buehller?....
Thankies!
