My documents were received on 09/24 , a week ago, and still no updates. Do I need to worry? 😊

March 2016 - Married in USA

April 2016 - i130 submitted

November 2016 - DS260 submitted

May 2017 - Interviewed in London

November 2017 - Arrived in Seattle on CR1

September 2019 - i751 submitted

 

Is that ok to send just actual pictures?

One funny thing is that according to USCIS, they received the package on the 18th, but USPS tracking said the 19th. Go figure! Sometimes I think USCIS exists outside the normal space-time continuum 😛

So basically, it's takes them 1 week after the delivery of documents to send the text with case number?

If you mean 1a-1c and 2, that's not referring to the additional names question.  The heading says Your full name, not other names.  That's what question 1 and 2 are doing - just documenting your name and A# so they can cross-reference it to the rest of your packet in case the additional info sheets get separated.  It's not asking you for additional names.  That's filled out in the earlier sections (I think page 1 or 2, off the top of my head, there are several lines for other names/aliases) 

Looks like these parts 1 and 2 -are not active, I can't add any information to it.  Was you able to fill it out on computer?

Everything else looks fine as long as you've included your old address for section 3. 

Thank you,but now I'm confused even more. 11 - 1.a.1.b for additional names, I never use additional names. Did you fill yours 11  - 1.a.1.b , even if you didn't use other names?

I WAS checking my I-751 which I filled with a lawyer help , and I found out mistakes. Also, I am not sure if I need fill out 2 or something else on this page ? 

3.a. I filled out my old address.

But what exactly do you mean?  Why do I need to prove in a divorce? I can get a divorce just for not being able to get along with him. But for immigr. I must have a proof why did I left him after few months of marriage. He will say I was planning to take my temporary GC and leave him,and he already trying to make stories for immigr. how I scam him for papers.

I was planning to get un - contested divorce because I want to avoid all this stress with long term divorce time ,and want to start my new life ASAP.

Even in shelter they told me they can't give me a note for my divorce court,because it will not help, but could hurt all process .

Hello everyone.

I will remove conditions on GC based on divorce + abuse. I hope will have my divorce final before submitting all documents for a GC.

And I have few questions : I have few  video / phone record of my husband, threatening me .I know in IL it's illegal to record someone without his permission.But how can I use it for immigration like a proof of mental/emotional abuse???  What can I do ? Can I bring this records to a po li ce department and ask advice there ? Or can they make a report base on the records ? 

Also I have some nasty text messages from him (sex related) ,and even some with a porno pictures , saying "if you will not do this with me, I will not go for an interview " ( it was for temporary GC). Of course I feel absolutely shame to tell someone about things like that, and don't know how send copies of this messages to immigr. for my 10 years GC.
