and when i check the processing time for Columbus office it shows 5 to 9 months while for Chicago the processing time is 11.5 to 15 months i am confused if i had to sent my file chicago or here in filed office but i had to follow please anyone from Ohio have been through that or any info related to that answers would be really appreciated

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On July 5, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number  to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by August 4, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Application Type: I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE

    Your Case Status: Initial Review

On July 5, 2018, we transferred your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number , to another USCIS office.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

Now it’s clear , they transferred your case to NSC not NBC , and you will get either an approval or interview letter from NSC , if they mentioned a local office, means they will send you an interview letter , prepare all evidence from now and you will be fine 99% of interviews leads to an approval

I wish whatever u say happens soon yes Nebraska center so hopefully they send anything by 6 months.. i am also hoping any letter for interview or approval??

  7. Just now, Asilarmani said:

So what I’ve understood is that you case transferred to another office not NBC , because NBC is for those who applied for N400 while I751 is still pending, you need to clear your case because it’s a big difference

Well i got a letter from immigration which states my case has been transferred to Nebraska service center i follow the immigration so I don’t have anything unclear thing.. and when i called them after getting my case history they say ur case has been transferred to ur local office so now there is no point to question them anything else or confusing myself it to them..!!

Oh ok , it’s getting complicated now more than CSC , some people here said two months and you’re saying 6 months , so I think it’s gonna be longer that either two or six months, but we don’t have any other solution, we have to be patient and wait what the futur bring for us

yes we have no other option than wait and hope for better.. when did u file by the way?

By entry until July 25 do you mean she was given an i94 valid until July 25 or that her visitor visa expires July 25?

No, if someone travels too often and has already stayed in the US 6 months recently, it is very very unlikely the person will be allowed back. Also, Canada and Mexico do NOT reset the i94. So if the i94 says she can stay until July 25, it means going to Canada or Mexico will NOT work to come back to the US because everything will be part of the same trip (the one in which she is not allowed to stay in the US after July 25).

Being from Pakistan better not mess up the visa or she won't be able to visit ever again.

Thanks i am really worried for that we are from Pakistan so it's better she goes to home country and come again after 5 months or 6..

Did anyone call NBC here ? And what did they tell them ?

I called them yesterday basically that no is USCIS there is no any separate no for NBC well i talked to USCIS customer service and they said from the date your case ha been transfered to local office it take 6 months local office to respond to your Case so they said from May 10 if we count it will be 6 months by November 10 call us after November 10 if you don't get any update during these 6 months... :)

  11. Hello everyone.. My mother lives with she has visit visa and she has the entry until July 25.. she also have the visitor visa of Canada my question is?

If we travel Canada and stay there for 1 or 2 month and come back USA again will she be able to get the entry to US or not?

Anyone have gone through from this kind of situation please share ur experiences.. becasue i heard if a visit visa holder travel to any other country than ur home country for 2 months or 1 month they could be able to get the 6 month entry to USA again?

    Thanks

  12. Can anyone tell me have anyone got any response from USCIS if filed in feb 2017 i know this is silly question because California Service Center processing time is october well i check everyday processing time of CSC they reached october 30 in middle of May but when again after couple of days i checked they went back to october 10 or 14 i was surprised to see this what is going on.. well i am no more in that center my case has been transferred to Nebraska and there is no any details on website to check the processing time for Nebraska.. one of my friend have applied in october 2016 and he got letter in April to submit more documents so to know about his case i got some hope but i really don't know how long we have to wait...

Please anybody in the same boat reply me to my post or any whatsapp group related to the case share that info just to encourage myself that one day it will pass or not me but others also going through this please people share ur experiences to help minimize the stress level we are facing...
