Our interview in the Dominican Republic was 10/12 and the visa was approved. I am trying to track the delivery of the visa to my husband's home.  The status is "origination" something which means it has left embassy for delivery. I am having a terrible time trying to find out who the delivery service is and possible a time or date of delivery. Everything is a website and all phone numbers lead to recorded messages to check the status on the website.  Any suggestions??

We got to the submission page and my husband thinks he put the wrong information in about his passport.  Is there a way you can go back to review the information before submitting it???????

That is a good question.  It is difficult to find a specific answer, or at least an answer that makes sense.  I just want to know the following:  I paid the IV and AOS fees Tuesday, 7/31.  My 260 was uploaded on Friday, 8/3 and the papers will arrive at NVC via Federal Express tomorrow.  What exactly can I expect from this point?  How long is it currently taking NVC to review and submit to embassy for interview?  I know they have 60 days here and 60 days there but I want to know what is happening in real time, not what the legal time frames are.  Those number are sometimes very different!!

Forfars,  It is best if you do not pay attention to the website.  It is not updated regularly.  My submission date was October 23.

WooHoo.  Our case was approved by USCIS  on May 8!!  Now the wait for NVC begins!!!

My case has been sent to Potomac and I have received a receipt number. When I check the case status, it says the case doesn't exist. When my attorney or I call, they say they have it but it hasnt been entered in the computer yet and tell me to check the website. It is very frustrating. Is anyone here familiar with the Potomac Service Center?
