I got interview letter for 5th febr 2008.

They are saying there i have to complete a full medical examination(for I-693 a) and suplement vaccination(if not already submited, but i did).I got my medical completed in may 2007 required for k1 visa.I thought the medical is available 1 year.What i have to do now? Go for a full medical examination with a civil surgeon or only transcribe medical vaccination(DS-3025)on I-693 a? I submited only DS-325 with AOS.

You only need to submit the supplemental form I-693A. That is all that is required.

Many of the doctors you go to will try to get you to do the whole medical because they don't really know the forms. After I was told many time we had to do the full medical I printed out the instruction forms and took them with me and showed them that all we needed was the supplemental form and it was done. No problems after that.

They simply need to transcribe the vaccination on the DS-3025 to the I-693A.

The AP document gets stamped when you actually use it going through a POE.

I have a quick question.

My wife has received her advance parole document from USCIS. She received two to be exact.

At the bottom it has two boxes. The one on the left has her picture and has a raised stamp seal on it. The box on the right is empty. The empty box says "National Benefits Center- Parole Stamp" above the empty box.

Is this supposed to be empty or is it missing something?

This program was around before it was called DORA and it was the same except one thing. They actually did it all that day. Yep that's right. When we went in in 2000 there was no infopass. We just got in line and got to the guard and said K1. Two hours later we went into a room and there were no questions. The guy just stamped it all and that was it. Green Card, Work Auth, and Travel Permit. She got the Card two weeks later. It was crazy and no one believed they did it. People thought I was crazy. Said no way they did that. I had found on a forum somewhere this information and got in that line at 4am and it was 34 degrees F. It was worth freezing my butt off.

For those going with DORA programm have anyone have success for an interview?

I have being trying every day to book an appontment with Infopass and there was available. And just right now, i tried again, (12:30 pm) and i found an appointment for today at 8:30 am. Either someone cancel it, or they are finally appearing, yesterday were nothing available!

I have been trying for two weeks and got one for August 16th today.

i have been trying to get my husband added to my bank account, checking account and utility bills and I keep being told that I cant cuz he not have a SSN yet or TIN#( i hope that abbreviation is right). What if we have our AOS interview before he gets this TIN#? Immigration wants this supporting evidence but how can I get him added to my accounts when he does not have his TIN#?

A TIN# (Taxpayer Identification Number) is a social security number. He should already be able to get SS# if he is here. You cna contact Social Security to find the nearest office.

We met on a free Romanian site.

I just put down that site and their mailing address and it was fine. No problems. You definately want to list it because they are going to probably ask how you met. Of course it may go fine at CSC but the consulate doesn't care if it went through fine there. If they think anyone is not being honest they can ask for more evidence or deny.

Your fiance is Romanian. Was it noi2? If so I have the mailing address.

With that in mind, I called CSC to ask for clarification. The woman I spoke to, if you can call speaking to someone you can't understand a conversation, indicated that meeting someone from online, paid or not, constitutes a marriage broker.

By CSC you mean the NCSC number. Definately goes to show why this is called the misinformation line. What a load of crock.

My bad, I didn't explain well enough. I tried calling the Laguna Niguel phone number listed on the bottom of the RFE cover sheet, but the number was disconnected and there was no forwarding information. I called the (800) 375-5283 number listed in the instruction portion of the RFE sheet and was connected to someone who answered that they were from the California Service Center.

Regarding questions 2 and 3, I asked why there was no "No or N/A" checkbox, and she told me that I would have to explain the answer to those questions on a separate piece of paper, in addition to explaining Question 1.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Much of late about being able to speak directly with the service centers via the NCSC number. It is not the case. The (800) 375-5283 number is the NCSC which is a call center only, contracted to USCIS and they are referred to as the misinformation line for a reason.

Service Centers

The four USCIS Service Centers in Vermont, Texas, California, and Nebraska were established to

handle the mail, file, data entry, and adjudication for approximately 65% of applications received by

USCIS. Service Centers do not conduct interviews with customers and are not staffed to handle

walk-in applications or answer questions. (This includes phone calls, faxes and emails. The only center that still offers email contact is CSC)

Telephone Centers

Through the National Customer Service Center’s four telephone centers (these are also based in Vermont, Texas, California, and Nebraska) USCIS provides toll-free nationwide assistance to customers calling from within the United States. Customers can access live assistance from 8:00AM until 6:00PM, Monday through Friday; they can access recorded information (including information about the status of their specific case) 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Both live and recorded service is available in English and Spanish. Callers from outside the U.S. can access more limited information through a separate toll number.

Meeting online in DOES NOT necessarily constitute a marriage broker......hence why the IMBRA contains exceptions.

Gabriela had her interview today at Embassy in Bucharest all went well. She got her visa. Standard questions and asked "What hobbies do you have in common"?

I've also noticed that. It would not surprise me if many people drift away from this site as they get busy with the final stages of this process. My guess is they never come back to complete the timelines. On the other hand, many November filers are still waiting for their interview. It's just that we can't be sure about the accuracy of the numbers...

Yeah you do get busy compiling all the papers on this side and on the fiances side. Well we are January 3rd flyers out of Bucharest Romania and the interview is next Monday!!! So wish us luck.

I know there are a few that will be filing at the Embassy in Bucharest Romania. They will open provisional file via email with scanned copy of NOA2 and your fiances address. The fiance cannot send checklist back until embassy receives information from NVC but it helps to have it all ready.

Oh and you will find Romania on some old lists of countries where Police Certificates are unavailable. They are available and take approximately two weeks to get in Bucharest. This is for Romanians but you can usually email the embassy and find out fastest way to open provisional after NOA2.

You know this is really none of my business, but I havent seen anyone on here claiming to have it all right or to have all of the answers. I feel this is more a site for encouragement and support while going through this loooonnnggg and tedious process. Ive come across some useful info on here. So thanks for what you do!!!

January ALL 20/80 = 25%

January CSC 2/46 = 4%

December ALL 90/109 = 83%
