Opinions, pretty please.
We filed i-130 in Frankfurt (DCF) early Jan, I just requested case status since it's been over 2 months, and received an email that our case has been approved by them early Feb. That's over a month ago and we haven't received any mail or email about it. Should I be worried noa2 has got lost in mail or something? I would think I should of got the case number and next pile of directions to proceed by now.
Any thoughts or knowledge of the using timelines in these cases?

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if it was needed from the stateside too.
Now, should I be concerned that we haven't received NOA1 yet. Package was delivered to Frankfurt at 3rd, and it's already 15th and still nothing from them?
Oh this waiting is nerve wrecking.

Has there been any development on this case? Any news of the waiver?
And for sure, sometimes life doesn't always go as planned, especially when given faulty information related to immigration issues. So people don't judge others so harshly when you have not walked on their shoes.

To be clear, I meant a person who has previously been a permanent resident, given it up, and is now in the process to immigrate again (beneficiary not a petitioner).

I understand, that after we file i-130, if it's approved, we'll be receiving interview time, request for the medical and list of other needed papers.
My question concerning the Police Certificates is: If person has previously been permanent resident and lived in the US, does he/she need to have police certificate from the states of the time lived there? And if so, can it be handled through the channeler or is that slow 14-16 weeks of FBI route the only way? Any ideas?
What else the process includes? Is the first interview together/ alone etc. and what kind of timelines there might be?

Got a hold of the NVC, they said NoA 2 is mailed out within 20 workdays. And phew, our letter was found safe and sound. We now can proceed the process. What a nightmare having it gone lost for a while.
