I received it on November 24th, so a month after my interview.

I had my interview in the Fairfax office on 10/24 and my oath ceremony is next Tuesday 12/19 at Woodson High School in Fairfax. I'm resident in Northern Virginia rather than DC.
Fairfax, Washington DC Office, Waiting for Oath Ceremony
in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports

It went very well and I'm now an American citizen. I arrived at about 20 minutes before the time on the oath notice, 12pm, there was a big crowd outside and seemingly some people had already been let in but it was too big a crowd son they closed the doors. Just before 12pm they opened the doors again to applicants and we filed into the auditorium and were assigned seats at the front of the auditorium. Family and friends went in a different door and were assigned seats further back. There were 400 people becoming new citizens so it was a pretty big crowd. We waited until everybody was seated, maybe 20/30 minutes, nothing much happening during this time except some instructional announcements from USCIS staff and voter registration forms handed out. Then we all had to exit the auditorium to the hallway where there were 9 lines of USCIS staff waiting to check us in, they gave us an envelope with various materials, US flag, words for oaths and National Anthem etc. Then we went back into the auditorium, this process took along time, maybe 45 mins or an hour. We had a 10 minute break and then the actual ceremony began, that was pretty short. There were two USCIS officials who spoke and the Mayor of Fairfax City, we had the Oath and pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem and some generic videos on big screen, including one from the president, there was also the country call. It was all over at about 2pm. Then we had to head back to the hallway to collect our certificates, I was done pretty quickly but others it may have been 15 or 20 minutes.
I hope you get your notice soon & good luck, its an enjoyable day. My only advice is to get there early as you will get a seat towards the front and that helps in speeding up collecting your cert at the end too.
