I couldnt get a checking account for both of us and we are married - so if you can do that with your fiance then good luck. Most banks require them to be there in person or have a SSN
I haven't looked into it yet, wanted to see if it was worth taking the time to do so.... but I'm sure you're right about the SSN...

So pleased he could visit at such short notice. On December 12 you said you were going to see him for the first time in February 2018. But a few days later he arrived to see you? What a nice surprise for you.
Yes it was a nice surprise for me, I'm very lucky to have someone that can make things work like that...

Yes, we spend the last couple weeks together including the holidays with my family....

I'm getting ready to send in my petition for K1 visa and I have a few clarifying questions.....
1) I do not have a passport book (I'm getting one) can i use my passport card?
2) my fiancé lives in sweden, I'm planning on going over there to go to his interview with him when the time comes, should I say that when writing about our on going relationship?
3) is it better to open a checking account with both our names before obtaining a k1?
4)we also have a plan to start a business and other plans with our hobbies, is it good to talk about our plans?
5)we both breed dogs, would it look good to have a registered kennel under both our names?
I know some of these are probably stupid questions but I've read so many stories I'm just worried
Thanks!

How can you even think about marrying someone that you have never met?
Some people believe in arranged marriages

Thank you, where can I find the time of processing for that?

What would be faster and easier to get my fiancé in the states with me?
Options:
A) he comes to the US in February and we get married, he leaves to go back to his country and we file for a CR1?
B) I will meet him for the first time in February then we file for a K1 Visa?
Unless there are any other options to get him living with me in the US sooner.
Thanks

Im a US citizen.... my boyfriend/ fiancé is a Sweden citizen... I'm so confused on the process and need help with some questions and see what our options are...
Some background: We both train and compete in a dog sport, we started talking on Facebook... we started talking on a dog trainin group and our relationship grew from there... he is able to move over here around June (or later if need be, but we don't want to wait if we don't have too)
We want to get married and I'm not sure what options we could do...
1) a- he comes over to me in February, we marry, he goes back to sweden and we apply for a CR1 visa.... or b- he comes over here in June after a few months of being here we get married while he's here on a travel visa and while he's here on that visa apply for a CR1?
3) does he have to stay in sweden for the whole Visa process or can he live here with me and be interviewed in the us?
4)after being married, he'll go on my health, car and renters insurance.... but we won't have anything we own together as we don't own property... besides that, we'll have pictures, cards/gifts, message/ FaceTime/ phone calls, etc to show our relationship... Is that enough?
5)I've saw people say that need to prove they live together, but I thought he couldn't stay here? We will live together if he's allowed to stay...
6) any other things that can give me info and the proper way to go about this is really appreciate it....
Thanks!
A few questions about filing my petition

Thanks for the reply, I didn't mean to venture into business partnerships now, I meant to mention it as a plan, I wasn't sure if it would be helpful to say what we are planning to do in the future or not...
Happy new year!
