  1. They better have our packages on Tuesday, cause I saw them haul in 4 big bags of dhl packages when they said they were closed.. This is something else honestly... I couldn't be more frustrated with this unorganized system they have.

I don't know how it is that we have been waiting since November, and there are people that get there packages before us when they had their interview after us... that is not right.

Whoever I spoke to on the 703# line made it seem pretty hopeful that a tracking number should be ready today (was originally Issued on 12/15, but they say 12/19 now). They said that after a few business days should be good so to keep calling back, and said that they’re actually open to call until 8pm even.

Let's keep our fingers crossed !

Im thinking they are trying to get everything done by the weekend. They issued a visa to a person that is staying here with me the same exact hour after he walked out of the interview. His just waiting for the tracking number. CAS told me to keep on calling them because at any moment I would get a tracking number. CAS is also slower tho to catch up on the status, they say that the embassy issued and printed the visa yesterday (wednesday) but I saw the issued update on tuesday morning.

Mine changed to issued Monday around 4, so hopefully there is some news tomorrow. When did the person that is staying with you have his interview?

Thanks for the updates from Juarez/CAS. We’re in Oaxaca still calling everyday. We were Issued as of 12/15 evening and the last updated date changed on 12/19, but still on Issued. Today the agent for the 703# said the issued date he saw was 19th and he’s not able to see it Issued on the 15th. Told him I had screenshots from 12/15 and hope this doesn’t mean there’s even further delays. He said so as far as he can see our wait time for tracking number is from 19th, and hopefully we have a tracking number today or tomorrow, but no guarantees.

These people are really unhelpful which sucks.. I really hope we don't have to spend Christmas here...

Yeah it sucks but after being in AP Im just thankful to have the status issued. Yes that is awesome it is better to wait with family. I know thats helped my husband a lot.

Around what time did your status changed to issued? The consulate closes at 4:15, I was wondering if that is when they stop working or if they still issue visas after they close. Thanks in advance!

I have noticed that everytime i send an email or i call to ask about my husbands case, the date on CEAC website gets updated. I think its because every call or email they receive they have to open it to check and it gets updated itself.

That's weird. I usually call very day and go to information every 2-3 days and this is the first time its changed for me.

  7. The woman at the info window told me there was not problems with the consulate's system anymore; however, she said that I still had to wait for the 2-3 week mark since my AP date online which was December 1st. I checked online on the CEAC website today and my case last updated changed from December 1st to December 12th, but the status is still Administrative Processing. I believe this is a good sign though. Whenever your date changed it means they are working on your case. Lets hope I get issued soon along with all of you guys!

  8. Hello,

I had my interview November 15 of 2017 and was told my visa was approved; however, I was missing my DACA card so I was given a 221g form. Once mailed along with my passport, I was notified by DHL that the consulate received my documents November 28th. On the CEAC website my case was changed in this order: Administrative Processing >> Ready >> Administrative Processing. It was last updated December 1st. I have been waiting in Juarez for about a month now and when I went to the consulate on November 6th to check my status with them, they said the system was down and everyone is being told they would have to wait 2-3 weeks. I just wanted to know if I'm stuck in a rut or if I should receive my visa soon? I already missed Thanksgiving, and wouldn't want to miss Christmas with my family as well.
