We got married Feb 1st 2020, so we've been married <2 years, and so any green card would be conditional. He says my wife should receive her green card in the mail in 4-6 weeks. Should further information or documents be required, you will receive a notice in the mail. We may also schedule you for another interview, you will receive a notice in the mail. Is this what they say when your green card is conditional?? Or is this what everyone with an approved green card gets?

Hey, It's standard because they mostly can't approve on the spot. I got the same letter after my interview and received my documents in the mail within 3 weeks. Relax. The hard part is over! Congratulations!

No, N400 doesn’t go to Potomac. It goes to NBC first for background check before it’s forwarded to your field office. In my case, after I was scheduled for interview, they automatically moved the file to Pittsburgh, PA, which was were I had my interview.

Yes. Filed for my citizenship in June 2020. Had combo interview in Dec. Got approved for both I-751 and N400. 

Thanks!!! Wanted to wait till I got the card but at this rate I think it’s better to go ahead and apply for citizenship. Did your citizenship application go to potomac too?

Hey all! I noticed that Potomac filers have the longest waiting period!😥. Been looking at people’s timelines from other processing centers and even those that filed earlier this year just got their GCs! I filed mine on November 20th 2019, NOA on the 22nd and biometrics on the 23rd of January 2020. No movement since

Hi @Drwang1175118 I filed mine in November last year and received a receipt notice stating an 18month extension from the expiry date on my conditional GC.  It also says i can travel and work and the notice should be presented together with my expired green card.  Filed my sons a few months ago and received the same kind of letter

I sent it to Texas . I’m based in Maryland. Then the letter came from Potomac Processing Center in Virginia

Sent package on the 18th of November. Texas . Delivered on the 20th of November. NOA sent out on the 22nd and I received it in the mail on the 29th. The check was cashed on the 26th

As long as you can track it. But my lawyer has been using fedex all through and so far so good
