Hi guys,

Once my fiance recieves his green card, he would like to work in law enforcement (even though I dont want him to!). Anyway, some of the police departments he has looked at so far require you to be a US citizen. Is anyone aware of a PD where just having the green card is enough or would he have to wait to apply for citizenship?

If you get Direct TV you can subscribe to Setanta Sports and they will show EPL as well! I was living in the Florida for 15 months this past year and I have never seen so much live soccer! For a nation where it is not the main sport they show alot! With Direct TV you get FSC, Setanta and ESPN (Champions Legaue). Plus there is also PPV. The amount of games on FSC alone is greater then SKY. Well worth upgrading to Direct TV!

My fiance has sent off the I-129F pack. Since she has sent it I have had to leave my job. I am now unemployed. Is it worth calling the USCIS and telling them so they can make adjustments to my employment status? Or is it ok to leave it as it is? Will the fact that I'm unemployed make a difference to the application?

My fiance (USC) is applying for my K1 visa and everything is all filled and ready to go. She is worried about one section. She has been on vacation with my in the UK for the past 5 months and has just returned last sunday. She does not have a job but we want to send the forms off ASAP. Will the fact that she puts unemployed affect the application. Has anyone else been through the same thing?

Also she does not have any cheques and she needs to order them. If she uses someone elses cheque will that be ok?
