So finally the visa journey is over, after 11.5 months (NOA1 JAN 19th 2017) i got the passport back with the VISA today!!

Please don't pay attention to the 11 weeks but be accurate with the documentation sent from the check list
The NVC call center will not provide any information they are programmed robots. But I will say we waited 7 weeks and 3 days for their response to our case. We had submitted a registrate of birth record instead of the actual birth certificate. Next submission took another 7 weeks. Our file was accepted on 11/8/17 now awaiting our interview date in Lagos
I say a prayer for all who are going through this process. It is very painful and stressing waiting on your loved ones to join you.
