Thank God! Our wait is finally over!! My fiancee passed her interview yesterday!!

She told me that the preinterviewer and the consul were really nice.

They were overwhelmed by the size of our file since it is almost 5 inches thick hehehe!! When the consul told her that the file is thick, she told him that she got another one that includes more recent evidence and He said he is already convinced by the first file

He Just asked how we met, where I work, If I have a house, and when we met. He also asked her if I have dependents and she said non, just her and our future kids

On a side note, Please don't bring your cell phone to the embassy, My fiancee saw a lady that left her cell phone to a lady that was standing outside the embassy, and when she was done, that lady was already gone. Lots of scammers outside the embassy. Some are even telling applicants that they will need photos for their interview so they provide the service even though the applicants already have their pictures on their DS 156. Please be careful when waiting outside the embassy.

Thanks!!! Yeah May 23 will be a really good date for interview since it's also my Parents Wedding Anniversary!!

As far as the Dept Of State, They don't have anything to do with the visa process, they just have a dept that is linked to all the embassies I guess, so they can look at our case status instead of calling the embassy. I read about this in the Manila embassy thread I think, and it really works great!

I guess Manila is pretty fast these days! We got our wish and got a May 23 interview appointment

Manila got our case last Feb. 28, 2007 just like the OP and I couldn't wait for Manila to update their website, so I called Dept of State today and I got the interview and Med info!!! Yipppeee!!

So everyone on the same timeline as us should call right now because your inteview dates might already be available.

oh by the way, I wrote the Dept of state # on my other post but here it is again 202 663 1225 ext 100 right away and you can give the Manila case number in order to get a status on your case.

Hello Everyone!!

I just got off the phone with Dept of State and I found out that my Fiancee already has an interview date on MAy 23, 2007

Her medical exam will be on May 16, 2007. Embassy just sent packet 4 out to her today!!

I couldn't believe how fast we got the interview appointment! Manila Embassy just got our case last Feb. 28, 2007.

So fellow Feb or early March cases in Manila, Please call Dept of State right now at 202 663 1225 and enter ext 100 right away. Just give your Mnl case number and they can give the info right away. Manila Embassy website doesn't even have our appointment online yet.

Congratulations to you! Manila received our package on the same day as yours. I called the Dept of State to confirm instead of Manila embassy. I really hope my Fiancee gets the appointment soon too. We are also hoping to get a May or June Interview. I already sent my evidence package and I134 package to her this week so we should be ready for the interview.

Well I will just inform everyone here if I hear anything else!

Thanks for all the support!!!, I was so excited yesterday that I already got my Employment Certification for the I-134 and my Fiancee ordered her Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) over the phone as soon as she heard the good news hehehe!

Good luck to the rest of you, it will soon be your turn. We will keep everyone in our prayers, It's not easy to be away from each other so I hope we can get through this process as quickly as possible.

Yupyup!!! It's our turn for sure! I guess We were the first lucky one to get approved, but it will soon be the rest of the December Filers!! Good luck to all of us! I am so thankful to Visa Journey and to the rest of the members for their insights and experiences with this process! I can't wait for the next step now!

Our Prayers have been Answered!!!, I've been a lurker over the past few months, and I just want to let everyone know that I just received my NOA 2 Approval from

CSC!!!! Yipppeee!!! I got NOA 1 last December 5, 2006 and I got the NOA 2 this morning with a approval date of 2/21/07.

So December Filers, It's our turn now!!!
