We had our interview 13 Nov. Both my wife and step daughter where approved at the interview Larisa (wife)recieved her welcome letter in 4 days and green card in 9 days.. Lena to date has not recieved anything. Anybody here experienced this scenario?

First I woke up at 4:30 am sick as a dog and felt terrible the rest of the day. We had a 1 hour 30 min drive to Indianapolis. We arrived 30 minutes before my step-daugthers appointment at 9:15. The officer called for Lena and my wife Larisa at 9:05. I will say that our officer was very personable, friendly and kind.. The officer ask the basic question and examined our pictures and joint accounts, her answer was "YOUR APPROVED". In 2-3 weeks you should recieve your cards.

We spent the rest of the day in downtown Indianapolis. I slept maybe 2 hours while Larisa and Lena where in the mall..

We recieved EAD cards Saturday 9-29-07

Recieved appt. date today in the mail interview at Indianapolis, IN November 13.

Mailed July 13

NOA July 20

Bio August 9

Our Receipt number starts with MSCXXXXXXXXXX this is what the USCIS site tells us when we want to look at our case status online. Any thoughts or comments? Bio was done on 8-9-07

I will be leaving Chicago Sunday 22nd April. My return ticket is 5th May. After the interview, that night, we will fly to Krasnodar. Larisa's home. Then a couple days later we will fly to Simferopol, Ukraine and taxi to Yalta, Larisa has family and many friends there. I was told by my lawyer Larisa can request that she will pick her Visa up at the Embassy when we return to Moscow before we fly home.

Any suggestion or commits will be helpful!!

We recieved the email of our next journey Scheduled 25 April. Moscow here I come

PS. if anybody wants to travel to Turkey, Antalya is a great place!!!!

Larisa and I will visit Antalya in two weeks. I understand I can purshase a visa at the Istanbul airport. Larisa has been there but I have not. I arrive 5 hours before Larisa arrives, where do I purchase the visa when I arrive. Will I be able to wait for my Love at her gate or not? Any suggestion or comments.

We will be staying at the Sheraton, looks nice. Anybody been there before?

Called my Lawyer yesterday, who does advertise on this site, he said "they would contact the National Visa Center (through contacts not available to the public)". He emailed me this this morning "It has just been confirmed by the National Visa Center that your case was cleared this morning and is due to be sent to the Embassy by the end of this week. Please let us know when Larisa gets further instructions from the Embassy (she should expect a packet from them in the coming weeks, probably in 2 – 4 weeks from today)."

I reseived my NOA2 22 Jan. Automated NVC show no record of my USCIS receipt number yet. I have seen many timelines here in VJ that already have there NVC case numbers and where approved at the USCIS level after my approval. Any comments are welcome

One thing you can do is download DVDShrink and copy the movie to your hard drive, then burn to a DVD. This will remove any region encodings.. Very simple to operate:)
