  1. Well, as i told you before, my i130 was approved by the time i made my AOS... I recomend you to go to USCIS. In my case, they only asked for my kids birth certificate  (because it was me, my t2 kids from previous marriage and my kid with my husband) they asked for i94 for everyone,  EAD of everyone and my médicals updated(which i didnt have because  the  dr didnt signed it) THATS IT. they just told me that im lucky to filed it before oct 12 2015 (that my status legal finished) because i could loose everything i invested.  He had all our files. Our interview lastes 5 min. They told me that we need name checkfor my 14 years old daugther and thats it. He sent us to make my daugther fingerprints. And that was in january, we got our green card on april... took for everr. By the time of our interview my PD was way after chsrt A. Chart A was current january 2017, i got my interview january 2018!!! A YEAR LATER!!!!!!!!

  2. Hi!

    Here is what i did.

    Married 2013 LPR HUSBAND

Fill i130 feb 2015, for consular process

Came toUS with a B1B2 Visa april 2015, our i130 was approves april 2015 just for visit, need to return oct 2015. In sep 2015 they add new chart saying that if your priority date was on that list you can fill I485.  I went to uscis to ask if i could  adjust status, they said no, but later that day, they called me saying to come back to the office,  next day i went and they told me i CAN starting oct2015. So i did, we did all paper work, pay all fees and everything. Waitesd 3 years..... if i would waited for consular processs it would take 1 year and 11 months... anyways... at the interview the officer just told me that i was lucky because i filled all the paper work  BEFORE MY TOURIST STAYING WAS EXPIRED... here is the thing, if you want to place a I485 you have to be within your 6 months of legal staying... if you are over staying (more than your 6 months) they will reject your  process... by the time they accept your paper work you are legal... i was able to work, make have my driver license and everything....  the officer didnt ask me anything about my reationship with my husband.. we had by that time 1 kid and i was pregnant...

Let me know if that helps you... if you have any other question just let me know....!!

  3. Hi Holly,

The interview last 15 min, IO requested i94, passport,  previous EAD for everyone, my kids birth certificate and thats it. He requested our medicals updated, but we didnt have it at that moment so i delived it 2 days later.

We were adjusting for a B1/B2 visa.

I hope it help you out. It is a really long and exhausting journey, need some patience that sometimes we dont have.

    Good luck!

  4. So i want to share my experience i applied as a LPR wife and my 3 kids.

    Feb 2015 applied i130

    April 2015 approved 2015

Oct 2015 applied for i485, i131 i 765 got accepted with priority date feb 2015.

    Oct 2015 got fingerprints.

    Dec 2015 i got my first I765.

    Sep 2016 2nd EAD

Jan 2017 my priority date was current

March 2017 infopass why i dont have my interview, he said that i am line for interview and may wait 6 more months... desperate.

July 2017 3er EAD (this took 5.5 month to got it)

Ago 2017 contacted 1sr senator -no help

    Sep 2017 contacted ombudsman-no help

    Oct 2017 contaced 2nd senator - Helped a lot

January 16th  2018 got interview letter from local office (not from lee summit)

Feb 2018 infopass why is not a decision and senator again, she told me that they are waiting for my oldest daugther (14th yo) clear name.

Late feb 2018 i moved in the same state.

March 2018  AR11 change of address, just received 1 lettee for my son, but when i called they said that all 4 cases address were changed. Then infopass -nothing uscis told me that can tale up to 6 months 😭😭

Early april 2018 infopass, uscis told me that they just received my daugther clear name and just waiting for a officer to work on my case.

Around april 12th i started receivend lots of email from uscis that " youe case is under review, there is no action taken at this moment" every 2 daya.

April 25th 2018 "your card is under production" SOOO EXCITED

April 26th 2018 " your case is approved" email!!!

April 30th 2018 "we sent your Card " ( under informed delivery USPS  i only could see 1 tracking number)

May 1st 2018 RECEIVED 3 GREEN CARDS!!!!! (I realized uscis didnt put my apt # in the other 2 envelopes, just in my son green card)

May 2nd called uscis for my daugther tracking number, i realized that they put my old address for my daugther, i called the post office and they have it, so they hold the envelope.

May 3th 2018 i got my daugthe green card!!!!!!

It was a LONGGG TRIP but now im done!!! Patience, faith and follow up everything. Specially if you change address be carefull and call to really know if they did it, i called the april 25th to tak to a tier 2 and he updated the rest of the addresses that what they told me when i called to know my daugther tracking number.

    Any question let me know!!!

At this point (one step at a time), I am more interested in finding out about submitting DCF; are translations necessary (if everything is in either Spanish or English)? and other assorted facts of the DCF Lima process. Thanks!

Hi, my stepdaugther made her consular process from Lima, so you have to fill i130 first with all documentation that states in uscis.gov,  and once is approved they will make you fill ds260 , she needs to do her police  and penal certificate, medicals, and everything.

For my husband took like 2 years, but he was a LPR, maybe for a US citizen is faster.

  6. Hi everyone,

Finally after 3 years of process my F2A i485 was approved!!! My interview was january 18 2018 and approved on april 25th, they just received my daugther clear name by late march  early april, so it was matter of IO worked on my case.

Now i am worried because i moved 2 months ago and when i did change of address for my kids and my application (separetly)  i only received 1 physical letter,  my youngest son, and today uscis is sending approval letter and is only one, my youngest son, not mine or my 2 other kids, what should  i do??? I dont want my letters and gc be sent to my old address which will be ending in a undelivery package. HELP WITH THISS PLEASE

this is my 7th month and still no response on EAD. Are you F2A? was your priority date current when you got it?

Yes im f2a, my PD is feb 2015, this was my 3rd renew and it took 5 months  and i already had my interview, a year after my priority date was current, and now i m waiting for a decision, its being 3 months after interview. I hope you have a faster process than mine.

Hey, did you sign up on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ new USCIS website to check your cases?

Ho! Thanks for ypur reply, yes i did, but in there just say "by march 13th 2017 we are scheduling your interview" and i already had my inteeview by january 16th 2018.

Yesterday i received emails saying that they are still reviewing my case and there  is no action to be done by now. Why i received this? I made a SR in march but still not asigned to an officer.

    Thanks so much

I filed in Baltimore office, the interview was only 20 min, everything was good, there was no reason for delay. I was calling USCIAS every single month and the response was that my case is within the normal processing time. The date that my I 485 was approved is actually the date on the green card.

Thanks so much. Exactly thats is the issue, there is no reason for delay, i am F2A, I am waiting this since 2015 and i thought after the interview everyting is going to be done, but nothing, i dont know why today i received emails saying that my case is still under review and there is nothing to do now. I make infopass every month, and already contacted senator, ombudsman, congressman, and nothing.... i am so tired of this process and hopeless.

Sorry to hear. It is very frustrating! I've waited 6 months after processing times already. I am way way way out of processing time but they still do not take any actions. I don't know what to do anymore. Feels very hopeless.

I just contacted  my senator to see if they can help me...that is unbeliveable... IO just said there is a lot of people insame situation, you  just have to wait.... i am hopeless as well... just praying that all this is over..

Let me know how your info pass goes! I am still waiting for a phone call after two weeks!

I just came back from my infopass, no news, no updates, the officer just told me everything is pending and is just matter of time, i am on the time line, so i might wait 2 months from now... i was shocked.... he said that everythibg is ok is just wait.... UNBELIVEABLE..... THEY DONT KNOW HOW FRUSTRAITING IS THIS FOR US....

You also renew your EAN ? I just check rejected mail the USCIS sent back and no copy of I-797C, but I remember I sent it and my I-131 is no problem. I guess they took 2 copies of I-797 C for I-131,then the guy for I-765 found no copy of I-797 C.

I did not receive any notice for interview cancellation until I show up in local office. I did e-request and called USCIS and only get code for case and let me wait...

Oh yeah, i have renew my EAD 3 times... long waiting for F2A adjusting in here.... and every time i just sent the form, a copy of my 797c for i485, a copy of my old ead, a copy of the paper where you received your ead and just in case a copy of my i94. Never had a problem, but my last renew took like 5 month to process...

I recomend you to make an infopass so they can tell you why they reject it.
