Call the embassy and ask. They might reschedule your interview to a later date
Struggling to actually find a person to talk to. It's all automated and none of the options fit me. Did send an online message to them though

My interview is in 3 weeks in Ireland and my passport expires in 6 months. For some reason I was under the assumption I can just renew it after the interview
But now by the time I have my interview it will only have 5 months
I can't renew it now because it will take 4 weeks and they need my old passport. My passport is UK. And I can't go to the interview with no passport...
Is there anything I can do?

I'm still not 100% sure whether the embassy contacts me before the medical
My checklist says fill out DS-160, contact the medical they gave me and then sign the readiness page and email to embassy
Just don't want to make a mistake

I haven't lived in England for years, but for my upcoming medical I need to have proof I've had my vaccinations. I've had them all done though when I was younger and still have my TB(?) scar.
I just don't know where I'm supposed to go to get them? I have no idea who my doctor was all those years ago and my mother never brought them with her either

Or does she have to send it anywhere else?

Say an average time is 9 months, is that the whole process? Sending documents/medicals/embassy interviews?
Or is that just the process for first sending your documents and having them viewed?
Couldn't find a concrete answer

My papers are being filled in July to be sent off, but we wanted to do a trip to Orlando in October. Do I have to wait? Or can I travel as normal?

I did read a post about some forms allowing photocopies, but it wasn't specific
Otherwise is it just a case of signing it physically and mailing it to America?

I don't have Irish citizenship and I'm still using my British passport. But most of my family are Irish and live here
I'm applying to move to America to be with my fiance, so I'm hoping I can just go to the Irish embassy
So if it's the wrong forum. Wasn't sure if it would be UK or Europe

OP you should list your country in your profile and then get this moved to your country specific forum as this question depends on the country you are from.
Some countries require stuff done that other countries don't have to do.
Apologies. I'm from Ireland

Do they want blood tests?
Or is it like one of those physicals where they put you on a treadmill or something to see how fit you are?
Or is it more of a questionnaire?
I've mad a massive mistake and might've messed up my whole K1 application in Ireland
in Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)

This is exactly what I did! Spoke to a really nice fella at the embassy
Basically he said they can put the visa in my old passport and I renew it, but Id have to keep both passports and travel with them
My other option is going to northern ireland and getting one on the day for a premium price
