Anyone looking to file and wait you must have a NVC officer tell you what waivers are needed in USCIS will requier that letter included before giving you an answer on you I601 and 212. I decided to file them before being requested to and I recently have been told by USCIS that I must have a Ciudad Juarez officer tell me which waivers I need 1st. I learned this the hard way. When he was deported the paperwork he was given said he would need a 212 and I know he will need the I601 waiver. They just want to make it more complicated for use 😕

Waiver I60, I received notice that from USCIS that they needed additional info (RFE) I turned it in and they said they were sending our case over to NVC, they are saying we are in Queue for an Interview---- NVC C=Sent RFE "If there are supporting documents missing: Send the missing documents to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview. Do not send the documents to NVC.
After NVC schedules the immigrant visa interview, we will send you an appointment letter with additional details. You do not need to contact NVC or send us additional financial information at this time" The question is, I have not receive an approval for my waiver? She he still go to the appointment? or should we wait to get an approval of the waiver? Please advise, thank you in Advance! -
Qualifies for re-entry.

Print the form or read the I212 form to see if that will qualify for them. I am not an attorney but I have a feeling that might help them.

I am assuming the I212 look into it you can download the application and check out the requirements.

He needs the K2 visa

I received an RFE letter on our I601 waiver recently. They are requesting additional documents to proof hardship and notice that he was ineligible for a Visa. He has not been rejected a visa, but the FOYA says he is not eligible for a I212. Does he really have to be requested by an officer in Juarez to get the waivers before we request them????? please advise, thank you!

Yes! the Timelines were changed to March2017 and 14months and 17.5months. This makes it even harder for us, seems like they like playing with the public! 🤨

I have another question? After you got approval for both the 601 and 212 waivers did they ask for any other papers?

I have several friends that have been turned away with a denial after having aI601 approval. Anyone else in the same situation? why were you denied?

I am waiting for a I601 and a I212 waiver since Aug 2017. I hope both get approved soon! He was banned for 10yrs and I am not about to wait the 10yrs, I know that I212 should help with not waiting that time.

I think your wife should just wait for the e-mail and chill. It might take a few days from her appt. interview.

Hello MCJ125!
You must file two waivers the I 212 and the I601, do not make the mistake to only file one and not the other. GOOD LUCK to us all!

How long did the waivers take to get approved?

You should not have any trouble going through the checkpoints, they usually stop the opposite side of your direction, if your headed towards Mexico you should be fine. I constantly pass by Temecula, CA and San Clemente.

If your other half is in Mexico you have a good 12 to 14 month to wait. Welcome to the club and good luck to us all!
