  1. Hi all, I am new to this forum but wanted some advice given my rather frustrating ordeal. I filed my N400 sometime late last year - around September or October. I went through most of the steps and was scheduled to have an interview in July this year. However, I had just moved before I got the letter and submitted a change of address while the letter was on its way to my old address (it got forwarded to me eventually, but I obviously could not go). So my interview is rescheduled to the last week of August in my new city and I thought everything would proceed nicely. However, the night before the interview I get a call from USCIS telling me that my application had not been received by the processing center in my new city. I received a letter stating the same in writing.

I figured that this was not a big deal given the size and scope of the organization so I waited for two months before asking what has been going on. I have called USCIS and used the online help multiple times and all I got a response in the mail saying my application is pending and no timeline of when things will progress. Currently, I'm trying to find an infopass time, but I have been unable to get an appointment for the past week. Has anyone else experienced such delays? What is my best case of action here? I grow weary of using my lunch breaks to call USCIS, although I do appreciate the customer service guys being patient and nice. Thanks!
