I have encountered others that have currently been waiting upwards of 7 weeks to get their visa and passport mailed from the consulate. I think the TL;DR version of this is: Processing times vary quite widely and you should not make any solid plans for moving/flying until you have your visa in your hand. Despite what your interviewer may say, the time line provided can be absolutely off from what really may happen (I'm a prime example of that).

Hey there I’m just wondering what the actual date you got your visa in hand was... I realize this post is old but I am going through the same thing. I had my interview oct 4 and it is now November 7 and still not tracking number.

Wow that is crazy long for Montreal. I interviewed a week after you and my visa was issued and mailed the next day. I had it in hand the following Monday. So Printer pending. I know ones who interviewed last week that also got their visa's in the mail on Monday. That is a weird answer. I sure hope you see it soon.

That is so frustrating to hear, it’s been a month now. A little ridiculous.

Normally, the status will change from READY to ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING then ISSUED. Check CEAC first of what is the current status.

Hey there, yes I have been stalking the updates and there has been nothing. I emailed them and last week they got back to me saying it was printer pending .... so truly they are just taking their time. Unreal. 

I had my k1 interview in Montreal (I am Canadian) October 4 2017 and got approved on the spot. I was told I could expect to see my visa in 5-10 business days. It is now oct 31 and have yet to receive any notification that my visa has even been mailed out yet. Has anyone else experienced this long of a wait ?
