Did you ever use form I-130? Did your I-130 get approved ? Or are you doing concurrent filing I-130 and I-485 together?
Forms needed to sent in with adjustment of status I-485. Employment authorization i765. You need to file the medical exam and the sponsorship form I-864 I believe. But yes you will have to repay again.

They still haven’t scheduled your for the oath ceremony, if you check the case status online , it should say the oath ceremony was scheduled and they sent a letter out with the date , time and location.
I had the interview for citizenship on Dec 23, 2021 and they scheduled my oath of ceremony for January 22 , 2022. They might be busy or COVID messing things up. -
SSA.gov . You can get the social security statements required for i-864w. Anyways if you havent worked for 10 or more years in the U.S , don’t file i-864w, because it’s gonna get send back , they will send a REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE instead of telling you that you don’t qualify for it so file i-864 . That’s what happened to me , just giving you heads up. You can file only 1 of the two forms, depending on which one you qualify . If you dont meet the requirements for EXEMPTION i-864w , don’t sent it , you are gonna delay the process .

Check the immigration website and see if it is considered a work permit or not . On google it says cpt is considered a work authorization . And it is approved from Uscis. All you need to do on the application is enter the number if the cpt has any .

Hello ,
i just recieved the notification from uscis about my interview date . The paper i recieved states that i need to bring in some proves that i have already submitted . My question is why would i need to bring the proves that i already submitted ? I get it about bringing different prove as photos and other stuff . Please let me know . Whoever has gone through the interview before .

The processing time takes much longer than the 90 days they claim for work permit and advance parolee . Hopefully there are no bumps during the process because an RFE would drag the process even longer . Good luck .

. Make an account with uscis . Add your case number . Check the processing date and year for the type case you have . If it is out of normal time , file a case inqury online . After filing the case inqury , wait for their response if they dont respond call and talk to someone .

Hello . When you file form i-130 , you dont need to send form i864. Unless you plan (i-485 adjusting the status) at the same time. But for form i-864 , if you didnt have any income for 2017, but you are working now , you gotta send in a letter from the employer . Stating the date you started working there , the position , full time or part time and how much you earn . You also need to attach pay stubs for the past 6 months . I attached pay stubs for the past 8 months lol , Thats how i did it . And got it approved . Lemme know if you have anymore questions

You did it right . Part 4 -21.a . Your info.
25.a i dont think it would be an issue. If they request evidence or want you to submit a new one . Use N/A for letters . And NONE for numbers . Dont leave it blank . I believe you are gonna be fine .

You have to file both 130 and 485 . If they are in us . You can file them at the same time 130&485 together. But invividual application for each one of them .

You pay all the fees from the begining ,otherwise they wont accept your application . Just wait and see . Check your status online .

Not really, i don’t know if you have a laywer or doing the process by yourself . If you are doing it by yourself , get familiar with the forms you are gonna have to file for the green card . Read all the instruction and all the proof they are gonna need , because when that time comes you don’t wanna run into any surprises , for not having all the paperwork .

Yes i have been working for about 9 years . I called the SSA and i also went in person to SSA , i was told i have 36 credits and my wife 20 credits . Anyways i do believe there’s a mistake somewhere. I did what the instructions on the form ask . I sent the ssa statement for me and my wife . I tried earlier to attach a picture of the RFE , i couldn’t . Thank you for your time and help .
-
Yes she earned 4 credits in 2016 . With her 4 credits earn during marriage , it rounds up to 40 credits. I basically qualify to file 864w .
-
If anyone is familiar with form 864w , i would really appriciate some help . I have earned most of my work credits before marriage . I have been married for 2 years. I have 36 credits and my wife has 20. But i can only use the credits during marriage . Filed form 864w with aos . Recieved an RFE stating that i do not meet the 40 credits . I included the ssa statements for my wife and i . What did i do wrong ?

Just use whatever is on the uscis website . Thats what i did ,no issues at all.

I’m in the same situation with form i-864 because my family size is 3. And i’m being sponsored by my wife . If i put 1 at married and do the total count at the end it comes up to be 4. So putting ZERO at the question if married is the right option . I’m gonna meet up with an immigration lawyer to make sure the form is filled up right.

They process the i-130 by timeline . You can check the timeline at uscis and it should tell you on which month they are working on . Sometimes not accurate about the timeline posted on website . Mine took about 7 months and i live in US. A friend of mine was in the same situation as yours , it took quiet some time . Best you can do it’s having all the other forms ready and all the requiered documents and proofs so once the i-130 is approved , you can send the other paperwork right away . Good luck .

Most of the credits have been earned before my marriage and small amount during marriage. I have 36 and my wife has 20 . Literally i just need 4 more. Ssa statement stated that i have enough credits to recieve benefits . This whole thing is kinda confusing .
-
USE THE PASSPORT YOU HAVE ENTERED THE US FOR THE LAST TIME .

Hello ,
i’m having the same issue with form i-864W. I have 36 credits and my wife about 20. My wife is a US citizen. From what the instructions appear we can combine the credits earned during our marriage. Sent the SSA STATEMENTS FOR MY WIFE AND I as proof , just how the instruction states . I don’t know if they need any other proof beside the ssa statement. I just recieved an RFE stating that i need to file form i-864 because i don’t have 40 credits. Weird . Now i have to file i-864. Help would really be appriciated .

Probably that’s why they denied your adjustment of status. Just do concurrent filling this time , sent in i-130 and I-485 together with the rest of the forms. Just make sure you have all the documentation right so it won’t delay the process. I wish you plenty of luck.
