I entered USA on F-1 student visa.

I am enroled as a full time student at the University in Chicago

I got married to American Citizen

What should I file for?

K-3 or Adjustment of status

Since I am a full time student will I have to live the country ( because of filinf K-3)

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

You would need to file for adjustment of status I-485 and your husband needs to file for you the Petition for Alien Relative I-130. There are some other forms that are required by these two that also need to be filed as well such as Bigraphic information (for both you and your husband), Medical Examination form (I-693 and I-693 A for vaccination), in addition, your husband needs to file Affidavit of Support I-864 and if you want Employment Authorizaton Document I-765 if you want to work before you get your green card.
