No they marry in jordan. He is in US. Both jordanian. He has only visa here...but expired.

Okay this person has overstayed their visa. Just want to know if they can get divorced while here without having to go to Jordan to obtain a divorce.

So if this person is in the state of let's say Michigan they would file a cording to the state of Michigan to divorce their spouse in Jordan? Is that my understanding?
