Well our interview was the 7th and so far there has been no change to issued yet.

I think it takes around 5 business days ?

If you had "no trace" then you never need it. I didn't.  If you had any offences or cautions reported on it, then you might need it later when you divulge them to USCIS. We used to have a "race" going with  a VJ couple who filed the fiancé petition the same day we did, and we kept up through each step along the way, him always winning. He got delayed for citizenship getting proof of a mischief event that was on his record as a 12 year old. He still became a citizen a month before me, even having to order a document from the UK.

    Thanks

Just concerned that it was never returned to me. is that normal?

Have to say London experience was smooth, but nerve racking

  4. Hi

I had my interview for K1 and was approved, the consular officer returned my birth certificate and other documents to me but when I sat down later I noticed that they didn't return my original police certificate, is this normal practice?? if not how do I get it back? will I need it for entry to the US or when I change status

    Any help appreciated

  5. I have applied for O1 work visa, it is sponsored by employer. However I was denied entry at U.S Airport with code 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I) I had violated terms of ESTA, and had a sworn statement taken on I-877, I returned back to UK on my return ticket, I was not expedited removed, and told to apply for the appropriate work visa, which I have now done. My Passport was stamped.

My question is will I need a wavier (which takes too long)  or will I be granted a the visa if I meet all the criteria and will it be brought up in my interview at the consulate? and will it effect the outcome?

I have read various threads and I cannot determine if I am ok or not. I have a clean record, have a job offer, have children, bank accounts and a house here in UK so will return to UK after the contract.

    Any help and clarification appreciated
