  1. Thats wonderful news Munchkins, congratulations!!I have a few questions to pick your brain with if you don't mind.I as yet have not been approved but am under review so surely a decision is imminent.Question 1 is;When you saw that your case was completed, what kind of confirmation did you receive and how long after the vase was completed did you recieve it? Question 2 is;Did the passport have to be sent to the London Embassy and if so how do you make arrangements to do this,as i know you have to have some sort of courrier service.Any help would be graciously appreciated and once more many many congratulations, its been a long haul!

  2. Ok heres what happened. My lawyer because I live in iIeland sent my file to Dublin then said he will get them to fwd it to London as i will have to file an 1-601 and Dublin will only fwd it to London,so to save time he said he asked Dublin to fwd my case to London where i had my interview in July and i personally handed over the 1-601 waiver to them.I had my medical in london on my 11th,ty Sean.

  3. Does anyone here have a case number other than an LND number and has filed their waiver in london or had their case transferred to London,If you have can you tell me if they re-issued you a new case number beginning LND or did they just use your original number but still sent you a postcard?I know most here are LND numbers but i see a few from Rekyjavik Copenhagan Stockholm Helsinki and Dublin,ty Sean

  4. Ok well i got a response to my inquiry but have no idea what it means, can anyone translate?

Your Immigrant Visa Waiver was transferred from the Dublin office to the

    London

Immigrant Visa Unit since you are residing in Northern Ireland and the

    Immigrant

Visa Unit in London has jurisidcation over those cases.

The Immigrant Visa Unit is still working on your package and this office is

    not

yet in receipt of it; once we do receive it, you will be sent a postcard

    giving

you notice that we in fact have it for processing.

Sunno what it means exactly but are they telling me that after 15 weeks they are still not in receipt of my waiver and thus i'm still waiting to be sent out a postcard so i can start another 15 week waiting period?

  5. My lawyer was wrong?Say it aint so lol.Yup from start to where i am now my lawyer has did nothing right apart from cash my payment checks.I have been talking with him,but i put more faith in this forum and the people in such as yourself as they have experience unlike these pen pushing overpaid idiots.

Colleen did you have your interview in london or dublin and where did you file your 1-601?

  6. Ok as usual anyone that you get on the phone at the London emabassy knows nothing and does not know what to do when they are asked a question.Does anyone know what is the correct number to call the London emabassy on to inquire about I-601 waivers.I'm just wondering and hopeing here, but could it be possible that its because my case was filed in Dublin then on to London to file the waiver that i got no postacrd and have not appeared on their checklist website?y Sean

  7. Hello to all.I had to file an I-601 waiver in London due to an overstay in the U.S.A.I filed it on July 18th of 2006 and as of yet i have still not recieved the infamous postcard from them, and my case number still has not appeared on their list saying pending let alone under review which i would think it should at this late stage of the process cause we are on week 14 out of their estimated 15 week waiting timeframe. What i am wondering and seeking clarification on is;Does the fact that i did not get a postcard sent to me mean that spmehow the waiver has been lost? And does it mean that until i receive this postcard i will never enter that list? Can anyone advise me on this and has it happened to anyone before?Any input i recieve on this matter will be appreciated greatly ,thank you all Sean.

  8. Not sure if i'm doing this correctly but here goes.Vicky I like your fiancee am too from Northern Ireland and have had to file a 601 waiver. As yet my number isn't even on the short list on the website.Could you please share with me any information about your case as i think it is very similar to mine.I have been waiting and hoping for your approval,my 601 was filed on july 18 of this year,ty Sean.
