I had gotten a response from USCIS but no decision yet. They sent me a Notice of Intent to Deny, but as well gave me an opportunity to clarify what seems to be discrepancies. I figured there was misconception of details, so I replied to them clarified all what they said wasn’t well understood. They gave me RFE and gave 30 days to respond, I had to provide all within 24hrs I got the notice because I was traveling out the USA in 48hrs time to the time I got the notice. Bottom line, I am back in the country now, the RFE had been responded to but no decision yet. The 30days they gave me to respond just passed, so I am still waiting. I hope you hear from them soon, good luck

Did they ask you to provide more evidence in ref for the authenticity of your previous marriage?

Is the "Resident Since" date on your GC incorrect? If so, please read the following page

    https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-recall-incorrectly-dated-green-cards

I got the message before I received my recall letter.

The 'Residence since' date on my permanent GC is the same as the date on my 2-year conditional card. Does this mean that my GC has wrong date? Thanks.

I also received the email above just now. Does this mean that my card is recalled? I have not received any letter requesting me to send the card back.

Have any CSC September-2016 filers been approved since the whole "BULK UPDATE FIASCO" from earlier in the week ? If so, where did your approval letters come from ? CSC or the local field office ?

I got approval immediately after my case showed it was transferred to the field office this week, and received the approval letter in the mail today. It is still out from CSC in Laguna Niguel.

    Hi,

Just to give you an idea... my case was approved mid-January, and I received my card within less than a week since being approved.  As of today, the status on the website still says "card is in production"...  Hope this helps...

    Thanks for the answer. Nice.

Another question: Can I get a confirmation from the 800 line of USCIS if the card is mailed and get the tracking number if available?

Did you by chance update your name or change the spelling on it after finding an error? Maybe you got a glitch but sounds like a good glitch if you got approved few hours later. Keep us updated.

I think it's a glitch. I never filed to request name change after filing I-751, and I did not change my last name after marriage as well. Any way, I will see if the card will be mailed to me. After all, CSC delayed my case which has been outside of the normal window for more than two weeks.

Did you file N-400? It may speed up your case if you didn't... but it might speed up or slow it down if you did.. if that makes sense. Either way, hang in there, the road is turning a corner. There is progress happening and USCIS are trying to remedy it (alot too late if you ask most of us) but the road is going to end very soon. Chin up :)

I have no idea. I honestly thought that it was a group number. Since I have myself and my 3 children ROC, I thought the number that didn't work to begin with, just linked the family together so they couldn't touch one without the others.. I'm certainly wrong about that after all this..

  7. Hi everyone,

My case was updated to be 'the case was received at my local office' this morning when I used one of the WAC number to check my status.

Just now I checked again, the status has been changed as below when using the two WAC numbers to check.

Does any one know the meaning 'Name was updated'? Will I receive 10 year GC soon? I cannot believe the status has been change a lot since this morning.

I am Sept 13 filer. I have not filed N400 yet.

Yesterday I received the update from the previous USCIS service request:

Recently, you contacted us about the status of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, filed on May 16th, 2016.  On March 30th, 2017, you also filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.  Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time.

Still they did not mention RFE. I am confused now.

Hi Did you receive RFE eventually?

We are expecting 1 year, although VSC seems to be 11 months at the moment.

We will inquiry with our Congressman once our date passes the date on the USCIS website. It’s worth a shot.

We’re in no rush in applying for citizenship, so we’ll just do so soon after we receive the 10-year GC.

    Hi CharlieTanger

Did you contact the congressman regarding your case? I am Sept 2016 I-751 CSC filer, and my case has been out of the normal processing window for two weeks. Filed e-request and no responses yet. I hope that CSC can either send me RFE quick or schedule an interview soon, but I don't want to wait another 6 months for their interview (I saw a filer who filed in June 2016 is still waiting for her interview appointment schedule). If it's helpful through congressman, I would do the same. Thanks for your response.

  10. Hi all,

I am Sept 2016 I-751 filer and my case has been outside of the normal processing windows for 2 weeks, and I have not heard any updates from CSC yet. E-request was filed one week ago and nothing happened yet. My guess that CSC is delaying my case is that I live apart from my wife temporally because of job reasons, but we reunion periodically and share common things a lot. Someone told me that among the June 2016 filers, there was one who had a similar situation like me and who also live apart temporally from her spouse. Can any one in the board let me know who this filer is so that I can learn something from her case to get my case processed quickly? Thanks for everyone in advance.
