My husband recieved his packet today we recieved the tracking number Friday. His interview was on the 28th. For people who are out of Juarez it takes 1 day to recieve your packet from the moment it is shipped. My husbands was shipped yesterday from Juarez to GTO at 7:30 am he had it in his hands at 10 am today. We will finally be reunited with my husband tomorrow. Id like to thank all of you for all the updates they really helped keep my spirits up through this difficult time. Im praying and hoping that everyone recieves their packet very soon.

Just updating: Nothings changed but the day is not over so we still have time. Tomorrow will be my 10 business days waiting. Fingers crossed we find something out soon.

I don't have an answer to your question, but you are not alone. My husband was also approved on the 28th and is still waiting. Those who have completed their interviews this week and were approved were given both the green approval slip and the blue 221g paper. They are being told it is taking 2-3 weeks to get things entered into the system. My husband went to to the information window at the embassy to ask, because he was only given green. They also told him there to expect 2-3 weeks from the date of the interview. 

My husband is from honduras, he went to his interview on october 14, they approved his visa,  they only gave him a white paper which said congratulations your visa is approved, and we waited a week for the passport. then i called the us embassy and told us that his case is under Administrative processing, Ive send emails asking about his case, and all they said was that he has to wait at least 60 days , in order to know whats going on. Today is December 10 and still no answer. its sad, because my Son is going to be without his Dad for Christmas. 
 

Unfortunately, my husband and I are in the same AP boat. He was approved on November 30th, congratulated by the consulate officer and given only the green slip with instructions on how to check for his tracking number. We got status update from "Ready" to "Administrative Processing" on December 5, 2017.
 
It was relief to see some movement, but after reading other threads on horror stories of AP status, I'm not sure what to expect.  We call multiple times a day for any changes, and the last gentlemen we spoke to actually sounded confused himself on why we're in AP if we only got a green slip, but said a generic blurb on just needing to wait and that we can keep calling.
 
We've been staying at different hotels in Juarez since we thought it would be faster to pick it up in at C.A.S. location. We're kicking ourselves that we didn't choose his home state to be with family during this waiting time. The consulate officer did tell him "1-2 weeks", and the 2 week mark is on Thursday. If we don't get it by then, we'll decide if it makes sense to wait here or be with family down south and come back when it's ready.
