    Just went to DMV in Shalotte, NC to apply for a learner's permit. My point of entry date was last July 14th. The K1 visa will expire on Oct.11, 2017. (90 days period for k1 visa holder to get married). I did get married 19th of August..nyway, to get the long story short..they denied me coz it's less than 20 days for my K1 visa tovexpire. I mean.. my greencard is on the process. Showed them my Social security card, I-94, NOA cert, visa, passport, etc.. but they won't. Is there a law in DMV that they won't provide you one when it's less than 20 days before your K1 visa expires?
