Have you been able to pick up your visa, yet? If so, how long did it take, and how were you notified? My husband's visa status has changed to "Issued" and we are just wondering how long after that it will be ready to pick up at DHL.

The waiting can be nerve wrecking. When did you have your interview? Had mine on the 13th. So, I learnt that DHL won't send pickup Email on time. So, once it's after 10days So, I decided to go to d pickup center next week Tues.  You can as well send an email to d consulate via lagosIV@state.gov to know if your packet has been sent to d GSS collection center.

  2. Hi, pls my IR1 visa interview date will be out soon. I've started preparing by collating all the necessary documents. I don't know how I can print out my whatsapp call history as that is d only app we use to communicate with (I n spouse) I've been able to print out the chat but don't know-how to print d call history. Pls I need guide on this. How do I print out the call history as I heard it must be part of the documents. Thanks

Also, the number of questions you are asked depends on which consular officer interviews you (some ask more questions than others) and also on the consulate. I had my interview 1 week ago and this is what they asked me (Consulate - Bucharest, Romania):

    1. Who is the petitioner?

    2. Where does he live?

    3. What does he do for a living?

    4. How and when did you meet?

    5. How many times did he visit you? How many times did you visit him?

    6. He pointed at a picture from the photo album I brought and asked me where it was taken.

Just be honest and try to relax during the interview. It helps if you are polite, smile and give concise answers.

    Thx a bunch sabrob

  4. Hello everyone, I got married in 2014. my husband (US citizen) filed I-130 for me last year. I gave birth this year jan, my husband came down n filed for our son immediately and he acquired his US passport here in Nigeria. Hubby returned back to US in February. Long story short, NVC approved my case last week so I'm presently waiting for my interview date. My questions are:

    1. If I go with my baby for d interview and present his US passport and birth certificate amongst other documents, does this qualifies me for my IV automatically?

    2. Will I still be asked so many questions as I've read lots of questions on d net.

    3. What other stuffs do you suggest, that can make me pass my interview?. Living here all alone with my baby is nerve wracking.
