Sure, all Obama's fault, no Russian connection to see here. None.
Belief what you want from your propaganda sources, it really does not matter to me and as I said before I do not feel the compulsion for a constant back and forth with you
on the obvious that you don't see. It's fall, enjoy the outdoors and give VJ a break. I am. Life is too short.

Trump said Obama was wiretapping him. Not true. Trump is still the same liar he always has been.
The intelligence agencies obtained a warrant on Manafort and wiretapped him as they should with all the mess he got himself into.
Trump had to make it all about himself again what's new !
Obviously if Manafort is being wiretapped then all his convos are heard, as they should.
Posting articles and doing the twist to try to make it fit an agenda is laughable.
The claim that Trump was wiretapped by Obama is still the same answer : A big fat NO.

What really burns my butt is that some still maintain that it is a Nothing Burger by their surprising defensiveness of "how dare they wiretap Manafort"
and I question their true patriotism to this country. How does wiretapping Manafort turn into Trump was right Obama wiretapped him.
    Seriously ? Come on.
Logic tells you to let the FBI and CIA do their job.
The party worship is getting really old.
I for one am definitely not hanging my head in shame but am proud of the FBI/CIA doing their job, security for our country all of a sudden doesn't matter
unless it's about the undocumented eh ? Ah yes, the new administration is exempt from people in suits and ties dancing on the edge of collusion
for their gain and thereby compromising national security right ? It's easier for some people to tell themselves lies than to accept something doesn't
    smell so rosy.

Just watch the fiscally responsible- swamp cleaning- repub elites live high on the hog with their jet setting around the world to
"very important official meetings" while I ROTFLMBO. But hey, you go party on and give them a standing ovation and go bite the left.
I just can't get how blind people are. 21 states, Zuckerberg.....yeah all fairy tales. Give me a break.

The irony with Trump is this: he has flaunted convention and norm associated with the Presidency and its leadership role at every corner.  He was just beginning to act "normal" by displaying leadership qualities during the last two hurricanes and now he throws it all down the toilet.

Now he wants to weigh in and tell the NFL what their employment policies should be.  Does he think for a minute how the mothers of these players he referred to as So3s  feel about his insults?

He needs to figure out what the job of president should be, execute his core responsibilities and then circle back to see if he has any time to twitter obnoxious, useless dreck.

So in the end what Trump should have done was suggested that league rules be changed, instead of call out individual owners to fire their players.

Of course in reality he probably had no idea what the league rules even said on the topic in the first place...just like he has no idea about how most of the rules for governing the country work.

What laws govern how you should behave with the Star Spangled Banner?  If your employer is ok with your behavior and it is not in your contract why should we care?

A rabid mob with Tiki torches screaming "Jews will not replace us" = ok with Trump as he stated it's their right according to the 1. amendment.

Players using sports as a platform to silently kneel in protest against inequality =  he gets his panties in an uproar with vulgarity , son of a female dog cursing.

Just some fresh meat to keep the dwindling base at heel and to deflect away from all his other current
    failures.

    The wall.
    N.K turf pissing.
    Health care protests.
    Tax reform.

    Puerto Rico.
    Budget.
So much winning, all that's left to do is have hissy fits and let red meat rain down in Alabama like confetti.

    I disagree.
It has backfired on Trump. The owners, coaches, players stand as one and will only become stronger and more united against King Trump's "declaration"
    and vulgarity.

What is of concern is the fit thrower in chief cussing up a storm and acting like a vulgar "fire them" entertainer that he was. Looser.
I can't repeat here what he said or I will go to VJ jail, why should he spew vulgarity and parents have to hold the ears of their children
    when he opens his mouth.
Our vets gave their lives to allow free speech and peaceful protest. End of story. Get over it.

How does the actions of a few people on the field, which you may only see a few seconds of and lasts at most 3 minutes at the beginning of the game, and involves them merely changing their body position significantly alter your enjoyment of the games? Why does it make you not want to watch?

Instead of enjoying 3+ hours of entertainment, you enjoy 3+ (-3 minutes) of entertainment. Heck you could even change the channel for those 2 minutes and still enjoy the game.

Seriously this seems like such an over reaction from people. They are freaking kneeling. It's not like they are carrying tiki torches yelling "Jews will not replace us" in a mob.

I don't watch football but if I enjoyed it I don't see why the mundane actions of a few people for 3 minutes (or less?) At the beginning of the game would alter my enjoyment.

I'm not saying he can't say what he did, I'm saying that you can't argue that people shouldn't have made a big deal out of it. He is the President. What he says has a lot of weight, and if it is calling out for people to be fired then there should be a response.

What right do the owners actually have to take action? Anyone have a copy of a contract for the average NFL player. Does it state they MUST stand?

Bottom line - Our President brought up a pretty stupid, pointless "protest" that people are now "re-obscessing" about. While yes people could have just ignored what he said, he is the President and that comes with some added weight. He was kicking up dust, and shouldn't be surprised that people are responding.

As I said before, this is likely "smoke and mirrors" so people focus on other issues other than the fact that he can't get any of his plans done and the health care proposals will likely fail a 3rd time.

He's the President...I think when the President either says out loud or tweets that a certain group of individuals should be fired, that is something that we must react to.

He isn't just some random twitter troll (though sometimes he acts like it). So yes unfortunately people "must" react to what he says because what he says has the weight of his office (unfortunately).

Trump suggested owners should enforce a mandatory behavior that doesn't exist. They can't just fire their players for kneeling. In fact I would wonder if they would even be able to get away with voiding a contract over that. I doubt any of the contracts have language that would support them in firing their places over taking a knee.

Again this is all such a non-issue. Our President has brought it to the forefront of people's minds when we have so many more important things to talk about (like the healthcare bill etc...). Most likely it was a calculated action.

The comments section there is hilarious.

I think it's one of the things about America that many people overseas find disturbing or amusing. The blind patriotism, the attitude that the USA can never do anything wrong and that anyone who doesn't feel the same is unAmerican. It's possible to love your country without blindly believing absolutely everything they do.
I go to the Army v. Navy rugby match every year with an old school friend. When they play God Save The Queen most of the 82,000 people in the stadium stand and sing, it truly sends shivers down my spine. My friend however, does not stand and sing. He's not anti-British but he doesn't believe in the monarchy.
I don't hold it against him, one of the joys of the civilised world is freedom of speech.
So I find it quite astonishing that America, the home of Freedom, kicks up such a stink about people exercising their Freedom of Speech.
