So i am currently 6 months pregnant and a US Citizen living overseas with my fiance. I filed in march for a K1 for him and it was received april 28th, now we are just waiting for his approval and interview. I was told by the USCIS support line (i called a billion times) that they just started looking at the cases received march 1st and i was wondering how my pregnancy would be affected by this. Considering im 6 months (due around late november) if the baby were to be born here in Algeria would i be able to take him back to the states with me or would i have to file some paperwork to give him my citizenship or.. Because there is no way my fiance is gonna let me give birth in the states without him hopefully he gets approved before then but if not id like to know what to do. Thank you.
