I was issued an immigrant visa in July, and i am travelling in September. I am seeing the bulletin retrogressed to a date prior to my date. Will this affect me travelling to the US?

How long did it take to get an interview at kng embassy after the priority date became current.

Hey my Jamaican pals. How long after your prioity dates become current did you receive your interview letters?

I guess i was lucky. I know of many others in my position here in Jamaica who got 10 years multi entry B visas with an existing petition. It shouldn't be a problem because violating the visa would negatively impact the petition.

Having a petition does not prevent you from getting a visitors Visa. I have an F1 petition with priority date April 2011, and i was able to get a 10 year B1/B2 visa in August 2015. I have travelled on this visa many times, no problems.
