My mother had her interview in US Embassy in Manila last 9/12/17. I then received an email (221g) stating that we need to send my father's deceased spouse's death certificated from NSO and photographs.
My mother said that the interview went fine but the CO just wanted these things from her. The CO kept all of her documents including her passport.
We have accomplished everything on 9/14. Fees paid in NSO(Embassy will pick up the death certificate) and we sent the photographs via 2G0(Embassy courier).
I am anxiously checking CEAC tracker everyday for updates and it shows "administrative processing"
Did anyone have a similar experience with US Embassy in Manila? If yes, how long before the visa was issued? My mother is getting anxious because she's afraid that this is a denial.
I am very worried too. I hope I get to hear some stories from people who had similar situation.
