Hi everyone!
Since I met my boyfriend, we are exploring our options to be together.
First of all, I'm a Canadian Citizen living in Montreal and he is a US Citizen who lives in California. So far, I've been traveling back and forth to his place in LA and he came to visit me in Montreal a couple weeks ago. We don't know anything about all the procedures we would have to complete to live together in the near future. Since i'm a Social Worker here in Montreal (graduated Bachelor degree), our plan is for me to obtain a TN Visa. I've sent around 10 to 15 resumes last week and i'm planning to apply to jobs every day until I find one.
My question is: Is there anybody here who had a TN Visa experience?? Especially as a social worker?
The thing is, i'm afraid I won't find a job easily since it seems like a lot of work for an employer to sponsor a Canadian. I have 4 years of experiences and a lot of specific trainings in my field, but still, I'm no doctor if you know what I mean...
Second, we've been '' a couple '' for 6 months now, we are not quite ready to get married. Yes we really want to build a life together but I guess we don't want to get ahead of ourselves and we want to do things properly. Anyway, marriage is still an option maybe in another 6 months but before, we would like to live together for some time.
Any tips, experiences or advices are welcome!

Thank you very much for your answer! I'm creating my LinkedIn profile now so I can be in touch with potential employers from SoCal!
I really wish I can get a job in the next 2 months.
