  1. Hello,

Ok I have a concern that I'm sorta confused about...My fiance was granted her visa recently!!!! Finally...BUT..We are BROKE! buying plane tickets and paying phone bills have put us into the negitive..So when my fiance comes I'm hoping she can find work to help me pay some of the debt. She has aaquired a BS in nutrition from the university in her country. IM curious how she can go about transfering her international university education to US's so that she can work in her field of work. Will she be required to go back to school here in the US?

    Thanks

  2. Hello,

my finaice's Visa was just approved! We are deciding where to have our wedding. I want to have on here in the States and also have one in here country. Also for our honeymoon we plan to visit another country. So I'm wondering once my fiance womes to the states can she leave the US and enter again? Are there specail forms I need to fill out or something. I know the Visa says it only allows a one time entry. So how can we go about leaving and entering the states without hassles?

    Thanks

  3. First things u should do is relax :D .........If your not sick dont worry. Allow me to better explain. The purpose of the test if to find out if u have active TB meaning in a stage were the disease is spreadable to others through droplets when coughing or other forms of respiratory fluids. TB is a bateria the affects 1 st tissue in lungs. So when u get a chest ray the doctor will be breakdown on tissue and fluid build up which is a result of the bacteria. So if u can imagine it would take a some time for the bacteia to be "working on the tissue" in order for the affects to be manifest. If you where at this time u SHOULD be displaying OBVIOUS symptoms. Temperature, cough, sweating, etc. Aslo by being a "carrrier" this refers to a person being exposed to TB at some point in their life. This doesnt mean that he HAS TB but has been exposed to TB. to determine that a PPD test is done and once u have been exposed this test will always be postive but it nothing to worry about unless other test are done in conjuction to prove that the TB bacteria is active.

LAst month we had a person come into the hospital with a 101 fever pesistant coughing,...this patient look horrible...Cat scan showed patchy infiltrates and other signs compatable with TB...but a couple of weeks before that we had a walk in patient looked fine just had a bad cough...he was living in a house with several people that were sick..but this man himself looked fine..chest xrays didnt show anything gross..but bllod worked proved he had obvious bacterial infection prob comparable with TB. In both cases we had the Patent islolated and all medical health personel tested within the same day to week.

SO to sum up.....Dont worry unless u r feeling sick now..but if u beleive u have had a exposure to TB then go NOOWWWWWW for testing before it becomes advanced..once its advance..its harder to fight but still curable....its just easier intheintial stage......

  4. Hello,

I reading through this forum and came accross your post. I work in radiology and have many years of experience diagnosing Active TB through chest radiographs. Please understand that inorder to FULLy diagnosis active TB from a chest radiograph the person would have to be well beyond the intial stages of TB. IF a person was in a advance stage of active TB you would have other obvious symptoms. Also I would like to add that the purpose of the chest radiograph is to access ACTIVE TB. A person can be a carrier to TB but not display signs of disease. To detect this you would need to be injected with a PPD.

  5. Hello everyone...

Ive been researching this site for a while now and I figured its time for me to start posting. So last week I recieved my embassy case number from the NVC so i assume its time for interviews and such. I basically have two questions/concerns. I'm born and raised in the US. I have lived in Zimbabwe Africa for a portional of time and have had several horrible experiences wih the US embassy there. So therefore I'm concerned with what my fiance will have to go through. So I wanted to know if anyone has been dealt with Zimbabwe's US embassy using K-1.

Also I wanted to start sending my needed paper work to my fiance so I can "stay on top of things" and help smooth out the process but I wasnt sure which Affidavit of Support form to send. So anyone ideas/help/counsel/ or have any previous experience at this Embassy?
