N-600 & travel in General Immigration-Related Discussion Posted September 6, 2017 Hello, I am currently waiting on any word from the USCIS regarding my daughters application for Certificate of Citizenship (N-600) In March of this year we filed and only received the receipt notice so far with a case number. There have been no updates ever since. My question is, Can you travel outside the US while you are waiting for this certificate?? She does not have a US passport (yet), she came into the country as a visitor and decided to stay, filing for N-600 while she was in the US. Anyone know the answer to this? Hoping to avoid having to pay lawyer fees for this one question. Thank you! Bianca
