Hi to you and everyone else who have been on this thread. I want to update everyone with my fiancé’s case. After 120 days of waiting he case finally got issued on Nov 21st. It was a long stressful journey but thankfully it’s over. The CO gave his passport back because he had to do his medical and they sent his passport along with his medical reports back to the embassy.

I emailed them after it had reached two months and this was their response.

Hello everyone, today my fiancé’s case got updated who resides in Afghanistan but the change happened during my day and his night time past 12am. Idk if anyone else experienced this. Idk if that means that my case is being worked on in the US. And status update shows 17th of October when it’s still 16th here.

Anyone with any updates ? It’s almost going to be 3 months since my fiancé had his interview and last update on his case was August 30th. This is very dreadful.

Not yet and it's been more than two months now. My last update on the case was on august 30th. I'm also getting depressed 😞

The last update on his case was on august 30th and there were few updates before that too 

Hello everyone. I just reached the 60 day period and still haven't seen any update on my fiances case. Has anyone else experienced this. The last update on the case was august 30th and his interview was on July 23rd. I hope I and the rest of us who are waiting hear something soon.

on Sep  1st our case changed to issued but the message under it says under AP. on Sept 5th still issued but the message under it changed to your visa in final processing if you dont receive your passport within 5 day contact the courier.  

we received passport next day. i booked a ticket for my husband same day he is here now with us.

Congratulations!!! I hope we all hear the good news soon too. This wait is so stressful. I'm checking everyday hoping it will be issued and it has been a month and a half now.

Oh 3 months is a lot. Did u try to contact the US embassy from where ur applying? I'm also waiting but lil more than a month now. I hope we hear the good news soon.
