I wrote my husbands email address incorrectly. They didn't say anything. However when I sent an inquiry to my embassy (Islamabad) 3 weeks ago they stated that my form was reviewed and accepted for my visa application, but my husbands case is still under administrative process. His interview was on 08/28/2017. Its been 96 days and no luck
Hoping he get his visa soon!
They grab my passport at interview day and C/O told me they will issue my visa after administrative processing but I’m still waiting for update.
I don’t know I must inform them about my mis-typing in form or not.

I was interviewed in Aug 2017 and still in Administrative Processing . Today I found out that one of my phone numbers in questionnaire is wrong number due to mis-typing in a digit ( Section phone numbers in last 15 years). Also I wrote my mother birthday wrongly. Do you have this experience, what should I do? thanks!

My Iranian fiance was told to expect 3 to 4 months of administrative processing at the conclusion of the interview in Abu Dhabi. The interview was this month (Aug 2017). A 221g was provided with nothing but Administrative Processing checked on the form. Within an hour or two after the interview the embassy sent an email requesting additional information about all social media accounts, phone numbers, and email addresses used in the past 5 years. The names and birthdates of all siblings were requested as well. Any one else receive a request like this?
Also, were you told to expect a response in 3 to 4 months at the end of the interview? Is this realistic? I see in the forums that other Iranians have been waiting 300+ days to clear AP.
Thanks!I faced the same situation.

I have 3 training seasons, I passed 1st one and have to attend 2nd next week!
Iranian nationality is eligible only for single entry, because of that I must get visa for every travel! -
Is there any relationship between Visa Type and Administrative Processing time?

I would anticipate your Nationality is the major factor.
Iranian and Canadian PR, but I work at an international company, our headquarter and training center located in the US, i was there in July with my previous B1.

Usually days, sometimes weeks, rarely months, and very rarely years. There's no way to know for sure which one it will be ahead of time. Was a particular reason for AP stated at the interview?
CO asked me to answer questionnaire through email and send them my resume, took my passport. I guess because of my background in chemistry.

Does anyone know how long AP for B1 Visa takes in Vancouver for a Permanent Resident of Canada who has traveled to the US 2 times before?
AP - Administrative Processing for B1 in Vancouver (merged)
in Tourist Visas

Maybe they are going to waive my application, is it possible?
