Im not sure if anyone else is going through the Philadelphia area for biometrics, but we had our appointment today and we were there for over an hour.

We sent ours out on June 20 as well and it was received on the 23rd. Nothing yet either!

We used the credit card payment method too and they had reserved an amount within one or two business days of our application being delivered in Chicago. That doesn't mean it has be the same for you though, we have a few people in the group who've had their EAD and AP apps received immediately and their AOS app received more than a week later, despite being sent together, for some unknown reason. That might mean payments are taking longer too. I wouldn't worry yet! 

Okay thank you! Hope something happens soon, between this and still waiting for his SSN my anxiety is high haha. 

Hi everyone! Glad everyone is finally with their other half ! We sent our AOS packet off last Wednesday the 20th, but we have yet to hear anything from them. I know it arrived on Saturday. We used the credit card paper and there has been no pending charge either. Should I be worried? Now I’m nervous I messed something up lol

i know! Direct flights to Cardiff are usually around $1100 we’re lucky he can easily get to Bristol lol

 

Not yet! We’re planning as soon as he gets here though. We held off on wedding plan til he’s here. We’re gonna do a courthouse wedding then plan our big one for about a year from now

We’re going to do the same thing, a court house first then a big one. Its too much to plan with all this haha. We’re still trying to book his interview . I can’t wait until this is all over! Then onto adjustment of status haha.

aww that’s awesome! I so wish my fiancé could get cheap flights, looking at flights for June POE and cheapest one is $130 🤣

 

He would’ve definitely came to visit my I think we were both paranoid as he got taken for a second interview when he flew here to visit last time 

It’s in transit now! I’ve been trying but it says this case is not ready to schedule appointment. I will keep trying later lol. Flights are so expensive! Going out there costs me so much. Do you guys have a wedding date set?

Its so close! I honestly cannot wait to pick him up at the airport by the time he lands it’ll be 8 months or so since we last saw each other  but it’s so exciting to finally see the end of this process haha

Yes we’re still at NVC hoping that changes today or tomorrow  I’m getting anxious. I want to schedule the interview lol. I know I can’t wait for the day he is here for good. Wow eight months, I give you so much credit that is tough. Luckily my fiancés dad works for British airways so he is able to get cheap flights. It’s been about two months for us. No one outside of this process understands the struggle. Glad things are finally moving though!

Luckily no, he just has to take a 30 minute train ride. Does your fiancé? Have you scheduled your interview yet?

I called this morning at around 630am so 1130 in the UK because my fiancé was in work. The woman I spoke to said there was an appt for 04/25 at 1:30 but that was too soon for us so we scheduled for 04/30. 

 

I’m surprised that the earliest date they had 😱 could they possibly change it to sooner if someone cancels? 

Thanks for your info! Made him call back today and we got May 1st!

they had sooner appts but my fiancé wanted to make sure he was prepared.. now just need to wait til NVC send the case to London to schedule the interview 

Hi! When did you schedule your medical? My fiancé called Knightsbridge today and said May 9th was the earliest he could get.
