My papers were submitted May 2018 and it took awhile before they gave me my green card. Then my N400 interview was last week and the officer said that they need updated documents which i was not prepared.  have you heard of anyone who had the same issue as me?

It was my bad too because I just followed what they requested on the letter which was just to brink 5 documents on the list and it didn’t dawn on me at all to bring any updated documents. We haven’t filed our taxes yet so I’m going to do that this Saturday and include it in our documents. 

I had my interview today, passed my civic test but the officer needed updated documents from me that wasn’t on list to bring . I got flustered, I truly could not remember what happened afterwards. She just then told me that they will send me a letter and it will state what documents they need. Has anyone heard of any same cases like mine? I am now really depressed. I thought we were done with everything to.any information would be helpful 

not me. i had my N400 interview today, passed my test but then they requested for additional documentations.

So, i check my status on the uscis website it says today that my card is being produced and will be mailed to my address. But i checked the dhs website it still hasn’t change from the last update which was in july that says my case is still being reviewed. I don’t know whoch one to believe right now because I don’t want to get my hopes up. Any of you here have similar cases??

They asked for brith certificates of kids if we have any

mortgage or lease

life insurance

that’s it, but I guess what we sent them is not enough for them.  Did you receive and rfe too?

Hi, We received an RFE in May and we responded to them a week after. We then received an interview appointment for our I751 which is making me really nervous. Our interview is this coming Thursday. Is there anyone here who have the same case as me? Haven’t applied for N400, case was sent to ca. Any input would be greatly appreciated. The letter says that we need to make sure that we at least spare 2 hours of our time in the immigration office for the interview and this is making me nervous. I’m not really goood with interviews, even job interviews I get sick afterwards. 😭😩

its just kind a photocopy  they say they didnt have enough evidence...??? I am whaaaaat?

I sent bills bank statements title of house health insurance car loans titles drivers licenses will, taxes, and affidavits ...I am too old to have kids I am astonished. My husband is just scraching his head.

by the way on internet there is nothing ...zero! no e mail no updates on uscis page only

HI! we have the same case. I also received a letter requesting me to send more evidence to them and i submitted it already on May 15th. I haven't heard anything back from them yet which is nerve wracking. Praying that the extra evidence would be enough for them.

RFE is very common.. Make sure that you respond with everything they ask and submit the documents before the final date to do so.. no one can tell you if you will be approved.. but we can say for certain that if you do not provide the additional information by the required date, you most certainly wont be approved.. 

This is frustrating and stressful , yes, so its important to keep your eyes on the bigger picture,  being together for life.. focus on your marraige..do things that strenghten it, have fun together, laugh, and celebrate each day... the day will come ! 

Thanks for responding. We are just really stressed out right now .We want to go on vacations but couldn't because I am too scared to travel without my greencard . I am just wondering if there are anyone here who is in similar situation as me and what is your update with your situation?

Well,  I received a letter from USCIS last week and they are requesting for more documentations from us. I just hate this right now because  we waited all this months and this is what they want from us. I mean i can provide more documentation, but the the whole thing is just adding more stress to me and my spouse. Has any of you heard anything about USCIS asking for more documentation? and did they get approved after that? My husband and I just want to move on from this stage and we can't right now.

i checked my status and says it was transferred to my local office. I hope this doesn't mean that we will get an interview because i was pretty bad the first time, i was so nervous that i got sick after the interview.

Okay got my 1year extension! Thank God!

the lady stated that i might get my green card  in April or may.

Im getting my infopass this morning. Are they going to be asking me a lot questions? Or what do they usually ask? Just nervours about it.

Has any of you heard of someone being refused an extension on an infopass? Just curious because i will probably need to get one. Thanks!

Chingay  I751 applied on Nov 2016,  NOA Nov 19, 2016, biometrics date Dec 6, 2016. No decision yet

HI I submitted my application sometime in Nov 2016, received my NOA on nov 19, 2016 and had my biometrics on Dec 6, 2016. I still haven't heard anything back after that.  Is there any way we can check our status aside from checking your status online because it seems like they don't update that site much. Thank you!
