    Hello,

I was in admin processing since August 15, 2017 which was the date of my interview at Montreal Consulate (was given a 221g). Sent documents on Aug 18. Today my case status changed to Ready but the message below says "ready for interview" what does this mean. The CO said i didnt need to come for an interview again as all was good and only needed to send 1-864. Please take a look at attached.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

  3. Hello,

I am wondering if anyone here has called the embassy before at the number below. I am considering calling regarding the status of my documents. I've emailed several times but haven't heard back promptly.

    Any suggestions:

    U.S. Consulate General
    315 Place d'Youville, Suite 500
    Montreal, Québec
    H2Y 0A4
    Phone: 514-398-9695

    Thanks,

I had my Montreal CR1 interview on Monday, February 9, 2015. Everything was in order except for the fact that consular officer could not issue the visa as the I-864 was signed with an electronic signature as opposed to a pen. When he saw I was upset, he advised me that everything else was approved and this was minor and should be resolved 3-4 weeks from when I send them the document. I sent the document yesterday but I am worried. My husband was supposed to come pick me up on March 2nd and we have our religious celebrations and reception on April 9-11. Does anyone have a similar situation and how long did it take to resolve?? :crying: After everything to be refused is so tough...and the notice advises 6-8 weeks to process.....which is the same timeframe as our reception.... :clock:

Could you update us when you received your visa? was it within the 3-4 weeks?

  5. Hello

I submitted the requested documents to the embassy. they requested additional info on 221g. Since the day it was delivered - Friday Aug 18. There have been two case update dates - Aug 21 and Aug 22 but the status remains in administrative processing.

Does this mean that its reach the embassy and is sitting on someone's desk or is the date update just an automatic thing?

    Thanks!

  6. Hello,

I had my interview on tuesday with the montreal embassy and the officer requested more info for the 1-864a. The interview went well but she gave me a 221g and asked to mail over the forms and passport. I sent documents yesterday and they were delivered today by the embassy. Can anyone shed light on processing times with the Montreal embassy once documents are sent? The status is currently in AP.

Anyone with similar experience, please help!

    Thanks,
