  1. Thanks for all the advise, it's not that I never mentioned my child to my fiancee (by then), they even met before we started the k1 process but my daughters father didn't want her daughter to be in my custody because of family issues I can't mention here, so when my fiancee(then) asked if she could include her, I said No because I knew her Dad couldn't allow her travel with me, I thought once she is mentioned, she should be able to travel with me, we didnt research much about it.

Note that I mentioned to my fiancee that I have a daughter at the first day we started talking, I never hid her from him, he loves her and takes care of her when we get a chance.

  2. Hello, I came on a k1 visa in August and am in process of Adjusting my status but I miss my daughter so much, I find hard time concentrating on anything, i want her to come join me but the problem is that my husband never mentioned her in the petition (we never thought deep about it because I couldn't access her) we were at longer heads with her Dad and I wasn't sure if he could allow her come since he had taken her away, at last he allowed me have her but I had already come to the US, how can I be able to bring my daughter in a shorter time?

And how long can it take to get her here?

Should I include her in my AOS?

Thank you and I gladly wait for feedback.

congrats on your NOA-2 now you wait for a case number generated by the NVC and all your info should be sent to Nairobi for processing.  When they do generate a case number make sure the first three letters of the case are NRB (for Nairobi) since Kampala embassy does not process K1 Visas!

Thk so much for the reply, Did they send your packets direct to u or by email?

It's been a month n week waiting for the next step but all in vain.

I called and they gave me a case number wch ofcourse starts with NRB....Do you know what next?

So I finally submitted my I-130 to the Chicago lockbox via FedEx from Singapore and it is expected to arrive on Tuesday. Literally the next morning my wife learns she is pregnant (we had been trying so not a complete shock).

I'm curious to know if I could now claim an exceptional circumstance and be eligible for DCF? If so, do I ask USCIS to send my packet to Thailand or do I tell FedEx to stop shipment and apply directly myself? Or is there a way to let USCIS know and see if they are able to expedite?

I guess worst case we have the kid here and due to processing times it'll probably be born before approval.

We tried twice and were refused. She had our son in February and we're still waiting for NOA 2.
