It was my Mom who is doing all the followups..I even thought it will never come anymore..so decided to just get married. Then this happend. Actually she did get a lawyer. This is my second time being petitioned..I used to live in California for 3 years..but decided to go back.for stustudied and never had the chance to go back after..now theydecided to petition me again...

No need of lawyer, it's easy to do it yourself if your case isn't complicated.

You received a Welcome letter, it means that NVC opened your case for further processing. That's actually a good question, why did you get married?

Yes, I'm F1, received visa in April, moving very soon.

did u have an immigration lawyer to help you with your processing? Where are you from? what do u call the letter yiu receive telling u that you that your visa is current and asking you to start processing? thats what I got.so now I have to wait another 10 years cause of me getting married?

Daughter is not a problem, but the husband is. When you received a visa, you had to remain unmarried, to enter US, receive a GC and only then to marry and apply for your husband, what would have taken 2 years. I'm afraid, that your F1 visa can be revoked now.

no my mom is a US citizen.I think that helps a lot.It can only be revoked I think if my mom is an LPR.
